We received a number of comments that the physical attraction or public display of affection between AS and CG just isn't there.

Please note the change in their body language that progressed along with their emotional connection

When they hugged each other, notice that the camera moved to focus on her hands, she clenched her fist, not sure sure where she should put her hands. AS held her hands, she would recoil hers, turned her face from his, and dared not even make eye contact with him, showing that she was still shy around him, even when they were totally alone at night. When AS leaned forward to smell the perfume she wore, she leaned back.

E. 38, 2nd embrace, this took place about 33 min 22 seconds into the episode. This was in the day time and they were alone. Please look at the body language. They had full body contact, their arms around each other. This time, she was no longer shy. Her arms around his lower back, gradually moving to the upper back of his body. And her cheeks rested affectionately on his shoulder.

E. 40, another full body embrace, day time at the cliff. Their eyes met, he pulled her body toward him, he put his arms around her, and hers were around his mid body, and she tip-toed, as if to reach up to his lips to kiss him.

Just focus on her acting. Even here in TLB, not sure if you noticed, everytime she wanted to act shocked, she will just peer her eyes wide open (which is what we usually do, when we are shocked). But her facial expression does not look genuine. It looked rather robotic or mechanical. Her crying scene were ok though. Which may well indicate that her acting range is limited.

But we shall see, when her drama with Yang Yang will be aired. If her facial expressions are limited, she will not go far in her acting career. If it is broad, she will succeed.

When she first left the palace, she was about 15. She first began to understand what it meant to be a woman, she had her first period at the grassland. Here in the drama, I forgot if Mimi told her, but in the manhua, Mimi had to give her a compressed lesson what it meant to be a woman.

We are short of 30k by 3000 comments. In 12 days, if we keep to the same pace, we will hit 30k!

Consider also, E49, he had the perfect chance to kill Sheer, the person directly responsible for causing his mother's death. Yet, he let him go. Because that relationship was also healed, in the end.

Consider also this, we are not shown the scene, but it was implied in the conservation between Shuyu and Leyan, that at the temple, it was Hao Du who let both AG and CG get out from the temple unharmed and not arrested. By then, AG would have known that Hao Du meant no harm to both of them. Why then should he give any nasty look at Hao Du in E49? Makes no sense

Also, we need to bear in mind. By then, Du Ruhui has died. He was the one who constantly instigated Hao Du to catch CG. But by E49, Ruhui was dead. Hao Du was already totally convinced by Leyan that CG meant to harm to Tang.

The director really wanted to convey that at the end, all misunderstanding in ALL the relationships among the key characters would have healed. If he asked AS to give a weird look at Hao Du, it just does not make sense.

Very very much agree with you. The whole package. That is why I think whenever producer/director choose her to the FL, they do not have to worry too much. She will get along with whichever male actor to act as ML. Not so with other actresses. Once they think they are a big star, they will turn proud and bossy, and demand to be treated like a queen.
