There are no dumb love triangle. Nor smart love triangle. Thus far, up to E9, zero love triangle, just one or two instances of unrequited one -sided love.

This drama is based on an original work, and the storyline is fairly unique. Even if certain tropes have been used before, the way those tropes are used here are rather unique, since we are dealing with cross-species romance. I am not sure how many cross-species romance you have watched in a drama, for me, this is the first, so yah, lots of things are very very original.

You do not have to be a fan of Dilraba to enjoy this drama. A neutral stance is more than enough. She has her unique brand of acting, which, if you do not like, you may not enjoy. But once you are neutral, this drama should be extremely enjoyable.

Really hope what you have posted will help that person. She/he seemed to want something more, like who is who in the 1st episode, rather than who is who in the entire series. Hope I am wrong and you right.

When I read that question, I was not 100% sure what was asked, so I did not respond.

Of course anything can happen. But those are reasonable assumptions any rational person would make. Having both her dramas screened at the same time would mean one drama may affect the viewership of another her drama, as viewers are forced to make choices. Not everyone has all that much time to watch drama in China, will watch one of her dramas from 8-10 pm, and another of her drama from 10-11 pm. And if both dramas are screened from 8-10 pm, they may well watch one, and skip the other, never to watch it again.

Just as I am making assumptions here, we cannot make the assumption viewers in China will definitely watch both her dramas, if even both are screened at the same time. She has 77m followers in China, not all of which will watch all of her dramas. Spacing one drama after another will definitely make more sense than having 2 producers screening both of her dramas concurrently. It will just reduce the chances of viewers forced to make viewing choices due to short of time.

As for my second assumption, Youku showinging one Reba drama after another may also reduce viewership, anyone would some understanding of the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility would understand that. Her drama can be considered a product. Consumption utility of the same product over time will just reduce in satisfaction. Especially when both TBW and LOA are historical, even though they are different genres.

If Immortal Samsara are screened between the two, more people will feel deprived of her drama and will want to watch LOA more. Screening LOA right after TBW may cause 'Reba' fatigue, just as we get a bit sick of eating the same food or same fruit all the time, no matter how much we love that particular food or fruit.

I share your sentiments about Reba. She has this ability to blend right into all her characters, so much, you do not even feel like she is acting. And she does leave her footprint on each character she plays. The Li Changge in TLB is not the Li Changge in the manhua, ditto for qiao jinjing, and now Ji Yunhe.

I am sure, when the author of the book watches TBW, she will be totally charmed by the footprint that Reba is leaving on the character that she has created.

Reba just has this uncanny ability to leave her unique brand of acting on all those characters she portrays. A very rare acting talent indeed.

I cannot find a term to describe it. I just call it effortless acting, as effortless as we take in air, when we breathe.

You can be sure, very very soon, lots of Reba and Gong Jun fans will go to Youku's Weibo page and ask them to show LOA. But, they do have other dramas besides LOA. Immortal Samsara is one. They will not want to show one Reba drama after another, so that one may go first, maybe in June. And then comes LOA, perhaps in Aug, just before PE, in Oct.

A number of non-Chinese already started to watch this in raw, without subs. Very big fans of Reba, so they cannot wait. They will watch again, when the subs are out.

And then, there are overseas Chinese. Quite a few here, I would imagine, all watching without subs.

What more do we need to say about her acting? From TLB to YAMG and now to TBW. Seamless transition from historical to modern and back to historical, she aced them all. And Allen was great too!

Some of us are already on that page. It might be shown in Oct, on both their national TV (CCTV) and Tencent's web platform. The most recent Reba drama was shown on CCTV was Anahan, back in 2013. Then, she was an unknown actress. Now, she has 77m followers in Weibo. You can just imagine how many people will be watching that.

She also has Legend of Anle, an historical drama produced by Youku. We can be sure, Youku will coordinate with Tencent/CCTV, to ensure no clashes between the two.

Just wanted to make sure Reba fans here know about Prosecution Elite, in case they are unaware.

I think the young version of Li Changge, her face is too round. She is not ugly at all. Face just too round. There are photos of a young Dilraba circulating on the internet. No, she does not have that round a face. I think little Yunhe's face is less round.

I don't know if they will show the back story of the relationship between the old man and his assistant. If they don't, I can only guess that she is suffering from a variant of Stockholm Syndrome.

If this comes true, I will not be surprised. Last epsiode for Part 1 for VIP members in China is 1 April. If they feel that a great majority of people who want to watch this has already watched it using VIP pass, they may well release it on April 6, rather wait for non-VIP members to finish the last episode, which is April 15.

Youku does have many dramas in the pipeline. The faster they clear TBW, the earlier they can show the others.

Also, they could be also under pressure to release Legend of Anle early. The official news is that Tencent and CCTV want to release Prosecution Elite in Oct. If Legend of Anle is not shown before that, we are in big troube. They will not want to show Legend of Anle at the same time Tencent and CCTV show Prosecution Elite. It will be like one Reba drama fighting against another Reba drama. You can be sure, Reba will not like that. And if Legend of Anle is shown after PE, fans of LOA will complain. It will be a long long wait for them, and LOA is supposed to be another blockbuster; lots of people are waiting for that one, millions of Reba and Gong Jun fans in China.

Somehow, they must screen LOA before PE. And one way to do it is to show Part 2 really soon, once Part 1 is done.
