Dilraba Dilmurat is a great actress i love all of her shows
Lots of her fans are here. Yes, whatever character she has played so far, she has done them well. She is in the process of expanding her acting range, moving to more serious roles in modern dramas.
Here as Ji Yunhe, she is doing great. Don't want to say too much, as people are still watching this, but her performance so far, faultless.
That is why adaptation is so important and they cannot blindly follow what is in the novel. What you have described…
He cut off his own tail, in E9. He saw that Yunhe was about to die from some kind of poison. Haoqing has the antidote and he said in exchange for the antidote, Changyi must cut off his tail, so he had no choice but to do it, in order to save Yunhe.
Yes, once his tail has been cut off, he cannot go back to the sea. That is the story so far. But, I am 100% sure, in the end, he will be able to do it. I am not sure how, but the screenwriter and director will figure out a way.
You sound really 'deep' my friend. Maybe because you are indeed deep? Thinking all the time? Analysing all the…
Your writing is deep. On the page of TLB, I know you took a break. But, when you rejoined that page, I recalled that you were more interested in some of the games.
But now, I am seeing such an intellectual side of you and it is totally refreshing.
The poor girl has been wearing the same costume so far??
I know that you are a very big fan of HYX. I want to say, sincerely, I am really glad that they gave her so much screen time. I suspect that her character will survive in the entire series and will not be terminated like some we already seen. And she has played her character really well, as Yunhe's constant companion. The chemistry between her and Dilraba is excellent.
As this is a major production, many drama directors will be watching this drama as well. I do think she will be able to land some good leading roles in the near future. Not just leading roles in those small budget dramas, but in a big budget drama.
Yes, it seems that is the way it was written in the novel, that the pearl was to prolong her life. But here, they changed it a little and used the giving of the pearl as a token of his affection for her. They could well be trying to give that pearl giving gesture a modern spin?? Almost like a guy giving a girl the wedding ring as a token of his love for his wife. That is the way I interpret that gesture.
And this 2nd pearl, I am not sure if there will be further purposes, but from E8, it was used by Haoqin to prove to his father that he has managed to make Changyi lose his tail. I suspect we could well be in for a surprise, concerning the role of that 2nd pearl. If the novel is completely silent about that 2nd pearl, the screenwriter is at liberty to write anything concerning that pearl. Could well be used later, to help him recover his tail.

Very likely so. Butterflies do not change the colours of their wings and general appearance. So, if they change her costumes, it may face criticism from viewers in China. They always look out little little things like this to criticise a drama.
“the author of #thebluewhisper has also been trying to ask Youku for more eps to be released to no avail as…
To me, this is an indication of her delight in the direction that the screenwriter and director are taking her work, her contentment with their adaptation. Or else, why would she do what she did?
Can’t wait to see the battles between Yun He and Shunde
I suspect they will have many rounds of battle. The fighting segment of this drama would be comprised of these rounds of fight between these two ladies.
That is why adaptation is so important and they cannot blindly follow what is in the novel. What you have described…
I have total faith in what the screenwriter and director is doing, total faith. We are not dealing with novices here. They understand the drama industry in China, know what the viewers want. So, I am fully prepared whatever is coming up.
Whatever they add, and whatever they substract, I am sure these changes are to make the drama even better than the novel. I mean, better for our viewing pleasure (without any disgusting scenes).
I think prior to E9, even though they showed him walking around, he still had his tail. It was only cut off in E9.

What you have described sounds really gross. If shown in the drama, it will be revolting to viewers. Especially because that pet is so so cute!
