Anyone having issues seeing this on Viki from US? Looks down
There is another Kdrama with similar name - "Cheer Up!" on Viki. Somehow their system got the two mixed up. I worked around the issue at the time by adding "Cheer up" on my watch list from my laptop. That seems to work now.
OMG this has to be one of the most trashy kdrama I ever watched.- FL doormat turning psycho- SFL liar hypocrite…
Stories around dysfunctional families are not uncommon and can make good dramas. However, it's rare to fill up the shows with dysfunctional families and characters. :) I started to watch it because of Seo Ji Hye. Now, I don't like her character (and many others) but yet I am going to watch it still. The show is doing well in Korea, also. I wonder what draw people to watch the show. In terms of the two sisters, I like the younger sister more at this point. I am not saying she is not (or will not) cause harm to the other family, but she is the lesser evil between the two as the story develops.
Theories: - Who do y'all think ends up as the queen for the crown prince??? - I feel like it's one of the characters…
Interesting thought and I wouldn't be against the idea. Ju Wol has a cool character and had some interesting moments in both seasons. I don't think either the CP and herself have any interest of each other though.
To anyone contemplating if they should watch this drama, please be warned that it does have a heavy plot. If you…
I think because of the heavier plot and not being a romcom, this drama has not got a lot of discussion on the net (am I right?) I have been a fan of SJH since CLOY. Her character in this drama will put on yet another challenge for her. I can't wait. I expect many would not like her character but I will stay to the finish because of the great acting and the story.
During ep. 4, the female assassin threw her long sword to Bu Yeon. It stuck her back. Then she fled the scene (without her sword). In a later scene, when Jang Uk chased her down and killed her on the stone bridge, she was holding a sword. Obviously she could have grabbed the 2nd sword from someone else it could have been an oversight as well. What do you think?
There are many likeable supporting characters. Of those, I look our Crown Prince, of course, as well as Ju Wol, the lady boss of the big restaurant. She is the informant but also connects Naksu/Jin Bu Yeon with Mu Deok with her friendship/business dealings. :) I agree that 10 episode is short but since fans are familiar with the characters and the stories with the help of Season 1, they can focus on the story in Season 2 right away, whereas they had to spend time to develop the background and character development in Season 1.
That's too bad for me. I currently subscribe both Netflix and Viki. Adding a 3rd one would be too much. It would be a difficult decision to pick one to drop, wouldn't it?
