I tend to find basic romance dramas a bit boring and slow. Whilst this did feel slow in the sense that each scene / look between characters felt drawn out longer than it needed to be, being only 12 episodes made this easier to watch.
That being said. I didn’t drop it and found myself smiling a lot through out. The leads had great chemistry. This was an enjoyable and easy watch.
I binged this relatively quickly, so it held my attention. Nothing spectacular but still worth watching.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but were those kids ever told their dad was dead? I get not telling them at first. But they never once asked about him on his “trip”
Also wondering if I missed why the other male agents hair completely changed? He looked way better in the second half with his natural hair but was there any explanation as to why he changed it? There wasn’t even a time skip. Shame to read he isn’t acting in kdramas anymore.
I realise these are 2 small things to be questioning but they annoying me not knowing the answers lol.
Omg I have to comment. First episode I watched I could barely watch it. Then some how I got into it episode 2-4. I kept going despite the horror dialogues.
Halfway through episode 8 (yes I’ve binged and will see it through) but a wedding of a gay couple Fadel was going to shoot. It can’t get anymore ridiculous can it? I’m sure it will, but this literally made me pause and have a wtf moment. Someone was on drugs when they wrote this.
I will be interested to read other peoples comments once I finish this. I often drop series, I am only going forward to see Joong despite the character he is playing.
Sad to have ended this one as it’s one of my favourites this year. I wish there were more like this that had a little of everything. Action, romance, mystery and comedy.
Now to start the hard task of picking what to watch next. I’d ask for suggestions but I’ve probably seen most lol.
I’ve had to drop this at the start of episode 4. I thought being only 10 episodes it wouldn’t drag so much. But every time I stopped and started this series I’ve had to check i’m on the right episode as every scene had almost been shown about 3 times already. Episode 1-3 in my mind could have easily been shown as 1 episode.
I peeked down at the comments below and have decided I just don’t want to watch another 7 episodes of a slow drama. Even the music makes it feel super slow and dreary. I get it’s the concept of the show and I was intrigued. Just not enough unfortunately.
I just finished this drama. I don’t know what to rate it. Usually if I can’t give a solid 8 or above I don’t rate at all. That being said I tend to drop a lot of series and I didn’t drop this one. So it did at least keep me intrigued enough to stick with it.
Yes there are definitely writer issues, such as adding every drama storyline possible. I felt the first quarter felt different to the rest of the series. Almost like someone else took over the series.
I still think it was decent to watch. Some will love. Some will hate. At least get to the end of episode 3 to decide.
Anyone not wanting spoilers. Do not read these comments. Barely anyone has used the spoiler button. I’m glad I didn’t before hand or I would have been annoyed to know the ending.
Looks like I’m in the minority who enjoyed this series. Yes I was here for LMH to start with. I don’t usually like space genres either. But I enjoyed watching something different. It wasn’t perfect but I’ve watched a lot worse and I never once wanted to drop it. The corny side mind dreams people had in the first few episodes threw me. I was wondering what kind of out there musical / type comedy were they going for. Thankfully those scenes stopped.
Perhaps some better closure for some of the characters would have been nice but I enjoyed it and don’t regret watching it. I also think Eve was perfectly cast. Some people have been unnecessarily rude about her looks or age. She is exactly what that character needed to be. You wouldn’t be all dolled up in makeup on a space station.
I suggest if the reviews have put you off just get through the first 3 episodes and make your own mind up. I’ve often not bothered watching something people have said is bad. But we all have different opinions.
After having read some comments when this first came out I was bummed to think I wouldn’t enjoy it. I love the cast. Lee Min Ho is one of my favourites. And to be in space is also not usually a genre I’d be too keen to watch.
However I am really enjoying this. So far finished episode 4, so a long way to go. But all the early comments about there being no chemistry,,as far as the storyline goes there shouldn’t really be any at this point. Yes you can feel it slightly from LMH’s character but she wouldn’t have any feelings for him yet. Also the comments about her being unattractive are so not warranted. She’s an astronaut in space. I don’t believe they’d have make up and a strong beauty routine in space. I think she’s perfect so far.
The only thing I will mention for people who start this are the weird random side parts that are almost like a musical without singing. I was not expecting that at all. Really odd. But so far I’m enjoying the whole thing. I thought a space storyline would be so boring. So far it isn’t.
I’m glad I have finally managed to watch OK Teac Jeon in something other than Vincenzo which I watched years ago. Sometimes someone plays a character so well you can’t see them as anything else. Finally I will now be able to watch his other dramas. Not to spoil anything about Vincenzo but those that have watched it will know what I mean.
Anyway. I like this series but it did take till episode 5-6 for me to decide to stay with it. The problem for me, which is obviously intentional for the storyline, was not being able to work out which kid was who as adults. As I was watching it in the beginning I couldn’t understand why I was struggling to work out who they were, but obviously as time goes on you realise why.
its the actress, when she screams she screehes till your ears bleed. But otherwise she does her role well, I liked…
I’ve already watched she was pretty a long time ago so I don’t really remember that now lol
I started Secret. I don’t think I’ve watched many melodramas before so I’m finding it very slow and hard to want to binge watch. And yes I see some of the same personality in this of the actress.
Ji sung is one of my favourite actors though and I notice a lot of other people from other series in Secret. I’ll try and keep pushing through it. I’m only on episode 2. I tend to make a decision by episode 4-5.
First time I gave it a 9/10. Usually if a show is good enough I want to rewatch I tend to score higher the second time.
First of all Ji Sung is just so brilliant in this. To be able to play all those personalities so perfectly and transition seamlessly is amazing.
I guess I have 2 main gripes that prevented me scoring or higher. Many people have also mentioned it but the second time around the female leads screams, cries and general voice got quite irritating. I know it’s her character and the director obviously wanted that but it was too much.
Secondly I really noticed this show should only have been 16 episodes and not 20. Got very dragged out especially with the flash backs. I understand they need to use them but not to that extent.
Still an awesome show. Considering watching sSecret with both the Main Leads. I just hope she isn’t as annoying vocally.
I loved this show but sadly started it too early and had to wait for the last 2 episodes.
This is one of those dramas where I would rate it very high and then the last episode leaves me wondering what score to give it. The first half of the final episode just seemed out of place but I’m glad they came back to ending it well. Watching the flashbacks after the credits reminded me how much I enjoyed the series throughout watching it. The lead couple had great chemistry and I enjoyed the acting of all the supporting characters so apart from the hiccup at the ending episode I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I just saw a short on YouTube for family by choice and I honestly thought it was Bo Gum. I’ll be watching this series next I think. Looks good. And now I know who it actually is, I’ve seen him in other series.
I am not a fan of any horror genre. I gave this one a go simply for the actors. Many of my favourite actors have done horror and I just can’t bring myself to watch them. I did enjoy this one. Wasn’t over the top and I’m glad I watched it. Lucky for me I watched both seasons in one go. I tend to lose interest if there is a gap so I could imagine that frustrated people at the time.
The ending however was annoying. A one year skip and then to make it seem like another series may happen, but most likely won’t. I like that kdramas usually have just one series with completed endings.
That being said. I didn’t drop it and found myself smiling a lot through out. The leads had great chemistry. This was an enjoyable and easy watch.

My annoyances are that not every evil character needs a redemption at the end. And since when does wisdom tooth pain just go away lol.
