Jung Hyun should've told the truth to Yeon Soo himself but I can somewhat understand where he's coming from. Anyone who has lied for so long would find trouble coming clean. 29 years is a really long time + there are 2 more people, besides his spouse, who he doesn't wants to disappoint.

a runaway from NK who was asked to take the fall for murder of Kim Tae Yeol (student activist leader) by NIS executive director Im Hyeong Rak. He was killed in the motel room and Jung Hyun was caught by patrol cops as suspect.

it was an enjoyable and cathartic watch. 'Weekly cases' format find trouble tying in overarching plot which is true for this one as well. I found ML's character to be quite flat. He was only interesting when he was trying to pass off as someone else or doing some cool stunt. Unlike most viewers, I found main FL's character as interesting one but it was developed inadequately. Rest of the Rainbow crew were good. Antagonists were done wonderfully and most of it was due to actors playing the part.
As for the good part, series sheds some light on issues plaguing SK criminal justice system and the suffering of victims. And it actually showed that vigilantism has its own limitations like law. Teaming up at the end was the best way to go about it. imo the best part of the series are the music scores. it really elevated the tension and mood in the series.

its tame all the way tbh since this series is aired on public channel. I wanted OCN to do this coz they don't shy away from some gore and horror elements.

yeah I thought the same as well. established cast, well known production house and its an official remake so what's up with none of the services picking it up :/

I don't understand how could mother get custody of her after getting out of prison and even more surprising that no one from child services was keeping an eye on her :/

its an alright short series. FL did quite a decent job. older cast delivered in their roles as well esp mom. music is good. There's one thing that bothered me.

the ending of ep 3 was a big wtf but it turned out to be alright at the end

I felt VE was mostly slice of life with some fantasy elements infused in it. I mean the main point of story is about the girl learning to express and contextualize different emotions.
