if you like Japanese series centered around family and marriage then check out 'Omameda Towako and her 3 ex-husbands'. Its quite enjoyable and airing rn :)
As for the series itself, I would encourage other viewers who enjoy this genre to check this out even though I myself dropped it (around 9). The idea itself is quite novel and there are some decent twists and turns in the story. I think the major problem, for me, was writer failing to cultivate willing suspension of disbelief at certain points in the story which is imp since we're watching a crime thriller. On top of this, another turnoff was lack of focus in the story after the death of certain someone. A lot of scenes and characters started to feel redundant. I think it was mainly a problem with no. of eps and eps length. Imho, quality over quantity should always be preferred esp in thrillers so that it lands a good impact on viewers. But if writer did not wanted to trim then splitting the production in 2 seasons could've been a better choice :/
not to discourage you from writing articles but this one doesn't really helps convince the viewers to watch 'Mouse'. Like the other comments have already mentioned, you should've expounded more on why you felt this one was a 'masterpiece' of thriller series instead of just saying people are missing out or whatnot. We have comment section for saying that. And I feel like this series is quite appreciated on here considering how it was on top of airing shows for many weeks :/
theyve been on a decline for so long. sig and pby had some great dramas during a great time on tvn when it wasn't…
yeah there seems to be lack of risk taking by makers in this genre. the only intriguing romcom I've seen this year is 'Mad for each other'. Its airing rn. It feels different coz of shorter format (30 mins per ep) and eccentric MCs who're receiving mental health treatment and plays with the same 'hate to love' trope. idk how it'll pan out but till now it has been decent. check it out. Its on Netflix :/
looking at the reviews, this seems to be not suited for general korean series audience. maybe the viewers were expecting some idealistic romcom here with well rounded, perfect characters. that being said, this movie has its own flaws outside of characters. overall this is just ok and worth one time watch only.
lol FL cheated too. pregnancy doesn't justifies it. and she doesn't even cares for the other guy much and just…
they both started drifting apart and expected the other one to reel them in. eventually they gave up on each other instead of making an emotional effort to make it work and not just be physically around each other. if you're not gonna talk or have it out with each other then traveling back home everyday doesn't means a whole lot. they aren't just roommates. I took the FL's relationship with the patient (both times) as either- she was looking for ML in that guy or maybe she wanted to go back to the time when her relationship started with ML and he was quite devoted to her. or she was simply looking for some emotional support (due to pregnancy) and she took the first decent guy interested:/ And at the end ML wanted to replace her with his coworker too. maybe it was out of jealousy that she found someone to lean on to and moved on or simply coz he was scared of the prospective of being alone. so yeah its a fitting ending for both characters.
I watched this for Jang Ki Yong, but story wise I was rooting for the fat guy.....And the Da Eun character is…

lol I saw the twist coming when FL was at macaron vendor with ML. First time (in the movie) when she went there with the other guy, vendor mentioned she was there last week so he'll give her a discount or smth.
relationship is a two-way street. both of them are to blame. maybe not equally but both are to blame :/ And no one is really superior or gets the last laugh here or whatnot coz at the end of the day, they're both unhappy and regret how things unfolded b/w them. They both are seeking to 'replace' each other with someone else. only difference is that one of them has found a willing partner and other one hasn't.
'Love Alarm' is an original too, isn't it? 'Hellbound' and 'Deserter Pursuit' will probably release before this one :/ there are a few more originals releasing this year besides this. I remember reading an article about that on this website.
To all my pals who did NOT find interest in Vincenzo, or didn't like it, its alright you're not alone. Tastes…
I think in recent memory, a potential game changing korean series would have to be 'Mr. Queen'. I think it could've started a wave of historical- fantasy fusion genre. But it was met with some major backlash domestically and the writer's next work- 'Joseon Exorcist' didn't pan out due to some added domestic-diplomatic issues on top of it :/

loved the MC dynamic.
