I think Mew's acting was good (especially working with what he is given), also I don't think the problem is with the Director, it's more of the script itself. There were some unnecessary scenes. For me I think the Llong scenes dragged on even though Koawnah did a good job, the scene with the sister, him coming to the bar when Tharn was singing for Type... we could do without...... they really tried to make us feel sorry for him and also tried to give him closure and reconnect him with family..... I honestly did not feel any pity for Llong at all.....what he has done is unforgivable. Tharn crying so much and experiencing such heartbreak is understandable, his pain was a culmination of all the times he has been dumped and not knowing why, Mew has shown the depth of the pain, I think overall all the cast have been superb .... if the script was tighter and the dialogue more eloquent, the show would've been on another level, but I still liked it a lot.

UWMA is boring and full of cringe and I find the way they insert the lays and makeup promo so annoying and makes it feel like one giant commercial. I see and agree with everything. It's sort of alarming not only bc it's misleading the fans, but it can create a problem for the gf, or to either co-stars if they start developing feelings, they are human, constantly being told you are soulmates and displaying affection and having fan and production pressure can play with someone's mind. The GF situation is a speculation, many of the photos they have together are modeling pics , and the pics of them don't show them posing as a couple, no kissing, hugging or couple type photos, they could be just friends. He never confirmed or denied if they are together so we don't know if it's a fact. The thing for me, I'm finding it hard to believe that Gulf has a gf with the way him and Mew act around each other, maybe I don't understand the fanservice culture, many of the other bl couples flirt and play around but there is something about the way they are, it could just be their strong chemistry and all. The gf rumor has not been debunked. the Director did not speak on this. What happend was that someone hacked into to the alleged gf's ig and published photos of her and gulf that were most likely old, one of the photos was of them together on what looked like NY fireworks, someone tagged Mew's Manager in the picture, and he responded with a tweet asking where the pic came from since Mew and Gulf spent all NYE/night together. The girl could be a gf /ex gf or just a friend no one knows.

I'm not criticizing the fact that he pushed him, I'm more of trying to explain why Tharn loves Type. Type always gives in to him and does what pleases him and had to do go through a drastic change in such a short time.

RR24-well said.... I get Type, I get frustrated when people say they don't understand why Tharn loves Type..... Type went from being a homophobe to loving and living with Tharn. Tharn pushed and manipulated him in many ways to get what he wants. I completely understand when he said he was losing himself, he is expected to change overnight and come out as an out and proud gay when only few months prior he was afraid of gays. People are hung up on the stupid things he says and his hot temper (I don't condone violence and didn't like him punching Tharn) but he has shown he loves Tharn with action not words.
In this Llong episode, towards the end Llong is having flashbacks of him and Tharn and the last couple of the flashbacks, it was always Tharn brooding, distracted and looking like something is on his mind, bothering him (he wouldn't share it with Llong) and always rushing back to be in his room , I think only now Llong realized that he dropped the ball on what was going on with Tharn and that he hasn't picked on the fact that Tharn has fallen in love and has gotten on deep with Type.
I was re-watching the series episodes and when I was on episode 4 something occurred to me, this was during an exchange between Tharn and Llong, where Llong was asking Tharn how he was able to live as a roommate with Type (being homophobic and all). He said he knew for a while that Type hated gays, I found it strange that he never mentioned anything to Tharn. I'm wondering that if maybe he had something to do with them being assigned the same room with Type, so not to risk Tharn falling in love with a roommate, so match him with the one least to fall for him or maybe prompt Tharn to move off campus(possibly with him). I might be reaching but anything is possible with Llong....... lol
