ugh, that would've been /so/ good!you could even take the whole thing to the next level and make Fiat really charismatic…
yes, I love the subtle slow burn.... hahahah, if we can come up with this type of plot, why couldn't Mame a professional writer think of it???

Did this really happen? Did Mew say this? or it's your analysis of what happened?
Mame is trash, I blame her for everything, she is the one that sold out, ruined her legacy, sold out MG..... how else was she able to lure the sponsors but to promise them a huge return and part of it was to offer MG on a platter.
If she had written a good story with a tight plot, no one would complain so much about the screen time of the cast because it would all be pertinent to the story,

Yes, love where you are going. Actually a character like the Dr. would have been a perfect fiat, played with more confidence and charisma. Their interaction would be more natural and real because they would be colleagues and no creepy patient/doctor dynamic. Type can confide and get close to him and he can provide Type the support. This would put the audience on the fence as you have suggested and would make an interesting plot.

So someone posted this graph of TharnType, solo Type, solo Tharn and others' screentime each episode lolhttps://twitter.com/Amber53895520/status/1335449107851214851
In the novel Tharn's character is hardly there, he is supposed to be on business trips for the first half of the story which contributed to their misunderstanding and tensions between TT. Honestly if the story is good and the plot was tight, fans wouldn't be complaining about screen time of M vs G vs others.
Also wasn't Mew busy with his new single and promotions for his music during filming, maybe that is another factor why his screen time is less.

Llong was good, but his role wasn't significant until end of ep10 so how do you give him credit for the success…
You mean the twist in the last episodes? That was great actually. Let's see if they can pull off something here too. There are some speculation that maybe Fiat won't be the bad guy instead Leo will play a bigger role than we might think. In the promo they seem to highlight him a lot.

I keep saying the same thing. The dialogue is super bad . They repeat the same things over and over and ask stupid…
The over did the filters, and the makeup is heavy like you said. I haven't noticed how pale they've become, the thing is Type supposed to have tan skin, there is a lot of reference to his skin color in the novel(I have some thoughts on Mame and her colorism but that is for another discussion), in season 1, The actor that played Type, Gulf used to get tanned for the role, and then somewhere half way they dropped the tanning and he was the same skin tone as Tharn, whilst Tharn kept calling him chocolate, I found that cringe in season 1, they should have completely removed the mention of skin tones and the chocolate references because it didn't apply in real life.

Now I wonder if season 1 was better because of Lhong !

I really like the actors of this series, but damn the dialogues of every character in every scene is sooooo cringe…
I keep saying the same thing. The dialogue is super bad . They repeat the same things over and over and ask stupid questions when the answer was already been stated. ex. Tharn shows Type that he saw the message he sent to Nana, then Type goes and asks how did Tharn find out that he met with Nana.
They should have spent the budget on hiring good screenwriters.

Wow, I'm amazed finally a good episode. This might be premature but this episode gives me hope for the rest of…
I feel the same way, it is an improvement but still the dialogue is still lacking and interaction getting better but not fully realistic.
It makes sense that CirPhu are substitute for TumTar or Phu for the role of Tar and Cir for Kla (just from his reaction to Type reminds me of Kla in the novel)

Leo and Fiat have potential but I'm not optimistic that the show will deliver. All we are getting is bad dialogue…
Yes that is a great example, every scene in s1 advanced the plot, but here the scenes are just there.

anddd the story kinda feels disconnected.i personally just wanna see more of leo and fiat plotT_T
Leo and Fiat have potential but I'm not optimistic that the show will deliver. All we are getting is bad dialogue and dragged out scenes but no substance. Fiat on his phone all the time, is he texting Type? or is he flirting with other men? or is he pretending to be busy on the phone to get Leo jealous? Why is Leo so dedicated to Fiat? Fiat is a jerk who doesn't appreciate him.....I would have preferred time spent on maybe flashbacks that tells the background story of their friendship and why they are so close rather than these empty scenes where Leo looks like a doormat and Fiat like a user.

Yes, in the novel, when TT are separated after the Fiat situation, Type's dad tells Type he wants him to bring a daughter in law like Thanya, not knowing she is Tharn's sister, Him liking Thanya helps in him accepting Tharn, she also helps Tharn understand and appreciate some of the religious actions that Type and his Dad perform during the ordination.

This is the worst BL sequel I've watched. What the duck 2 was bad but at least it wasn't boring af.
I'll give ep 5 a chance, if it turns out bad as well, I will co-sign your post, TTTS s2 will be in same league as WTD s2

MaaaaxTuuul!!!!:D Then after MOD ends, ITSAAAAY part 2!!!:D
I'm sad too about ttts, but I'm glad we have all the BLs you mentioned, and there are more to come.
I hope MG get to do other quality roles, I want to see if they can duplicate that deadly chemistry with others.

Exactly, I've said this before and will say it again, Mame should have hired professional screenwriters, her writing…
Now with what is going on this season, MG maybe can finally be free from Mame. I'm sure she's been holding the "without TTTS you wouldn't be where you are" over their head. The woman can't write to save her life if her storyline didn't involve rape or sexual assault.

Not only did Mame mess up with P'Tee and write a terrible script, she also replaced the acting coach from s1, she was fantastic and helped MG further develop their already hot chemistry and execute all those emotional scenes we witnessed. This season, I feel the acting is also lacking, maybe not so much with MG, but you can see the new cast don't feel natural in their roles and do a lot of overacting, it's all very cringe.
S2 should have been made into a mini-series, 5eps could have covered TharnType journey to getting married, add a little bit of the Fiat story line to use as a conflict to spice things up, but everything is resolved quickly, except the focus would be on Type's ordination, a period where their love becomes stronger, their passion and commitment is renewed and then the grand finale is the wedding. This would have been cute and a nice goodbye to the characters and the series.

Well, I've tried to be positive for weeks but this episode broke the camels back for me, it was so bad. I guess,…
I was one of the people who from very early on was worried about the sponsor and his possible interference in the production of S2, especially with the fact that he started an agency and signed up the new cast, but now I completely put the blame on Mame and her team, she owns MMY and they did the post production, so she and her team are responsible for the lousy editing that we are watching, I doubt Golf sits there and tells her how the story should go and what to put in or keep out. It's possible that he might have wanted more screen time for his actors, but that would have been fine if she had written a good story that tie everything up nicely. We know and love MewGulf as TharnType so even when she gives them a stupid plot or cheesy lines we still tolerate it because of their chemistry, these other characters don't have that privilege so their extended scenes are so annoying and cringe. Another reason I know Mame is the problem, she completely ruined the script for LBC S2, again second-rate story and characters have become a shadow of their old self. She is on a major cash grab and does not care about making good series.

They should have given the previous director more money if that would have convinced him to stay for season 2.…
Exactly, I've said this before and will say it again, Mame should have hired professional screenwriters, her writing is terrible and she has no idea how to make a believable scenes or dialogue . As for the previous Director, he didn't stay on because he wanted creative freedom in working on s2 , both he and Mame said money was not the issue.
