On The Love Never Sets Oct 14, 2025
Many viewers will remember Ja as Leo, with First as Fiat, his troublesome and eventual love interest, who first appeared in TharnType as supporting characters before getting their own series, Don't Say No. In that, Leo played the older, steadying and calming influence on the unpredictable and excitable Fiat. Well, here is Ja again, smooth and as debonair as ever playing Saint, in a role that bears some resemblance to his previous persona as he deals with Ice, with whom he had a falling out but now lives with and will be his acting partner in a film they're about to make. Ice had a traumatic home life that still gives him nightmares, and he's none too happy he's mixed up with Saint again, but true to his name, Saint puts the past aside, being gentle and understanding with Ice until he wins him over. That's the setup for what's coming next. I think this will be an engrossing and at times intense series that I'm looking forward to getting into.

Chaotic, to say the least, but the two male leads made it worthwhile with their bouts of passionate kissing.

Despite the earlier warning, I don't think Nawa stood a chance of not yielding under the full charm assault from Phu. However, having let himself be smitten, I don't think it's going to be smooth sailing for them. Choppy seas for some characters are ahead.

I absolutely loved today's episode! Namping was killing it! I love the friendship between Khem, Jet and Charn…
So who is Kachen? This incredibly dashing and handsome young man appears in the last moment of the 10th episode and he's there, why?

It's going to get very messy, with Pokpong being misled by Jett and persuaded to join the Hunters whose mission is to kill vampires. Little does he know that Punn, his older brother, his brother's boyfriend, Ramil, is the head of the vampires.

Not every BL-themed drama has to be about romance from wall to wall.
I never suggested or even thought that.

Over half way through and so far it's nothing more than a serious political drama without a shred of BL romance in the offing, despite the occasional looks Vee and Dr. Nong give each other. I really can't see Dr. Nong leaning in to kiss Vee (or vice versa). Vee is young, attractive and gay - everyone knows that - while Dr. Nong has a permanent 5 o'clock shadow and is ostensibly straight, looking and acting as such. Vee is deeply committed to being a wheeler/dealer behind the scenes, while Dr. Nong is committed to improving the health system of the country - the reason he entered politics - but with the latest development, just as he was confirmed as Minister for Public Health, minutes later he resigned. Enthralling as all this is, it's hard to see the tenor of this show veering towards a romantic entanglement between these two characters, but I'll probably be proved wrong on this.

That this was a vertical drama was the least of my problems with it. I found it difficult to follow properly because the narrative was choppy and disjointed, but worst of all, the subtitles flashed by too fast sometimes and occasionally were buried below the Korean subtitles and disappeared from the screen. That said, the two leads were attractive and after going through various difficulties, at least they ended up happily together.

I had reached peak frustration with this show until Win climbed into Nut's bedroom and eventually he sang his new song with lyrics that were so direct, it was not really surprising that Win put his hand on the guitar to stop him playing, leaned over and kissed him. My relief was palpable. It's pretty certain that Nut was going to tell Win he liked him after the competition, but he pre-empted that with his song and Win took the cue. Good for him. Nut kissed him back. History had been changed for the better.

I'm still catching up on this series and just watched Ep. 5. Thankfully, the subs are on point now and storywise, it's finally moving in the right direction. Indeed, this episode was the best so far.

I feel it should be moving forward more. Win is spineless and not taking advantage of the times he is alone with Nut. Sure, he held Nut's cold hands to warm them, but he could have also moved closer to Nut for mutual body warmth. Also, Chai has a crush on Ek but is definitely keeping it to himself.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed Pong flirting with Khem - Jet did too. Khem could do much worse than let his affections drift away from Peem to Pong. Indeed, I think the rather masculine Pong is a good match for Khem. Regarding Peem, as a shaman, he had to renounce love, so regardless of what Jet said about him and Prim, I doubt Peem will allow that to develop wings.

Suzume is so caught up in self-imposed isolation and afraid to realise his true feelings for Keishi. It is so painful, it reduces him to tears. Is that what he wants for the rest of his life - to be alone? I think not, but it will take something unexpected for him to reverse this dismal outcome. I expect we'll see that happen next week in the final episode.
