After Ep. 10 went to air, most viewers were dissatisfied with the way the series ended, and most people were hoping a special episode would be forthcoming, including me. That one couldn't click 'Completed' on MDL indicated that it was in the offing, and so it was. It tidied up the stories between Kyle and his father, then Pedra and Joshwell satisfactorily, leaving the fate of Andres in the balance. We find that he was washed up on a remote island, barely alive. MDL decides that the series is completed. What? This is just cruel. I demand an extra special episode in which Andres is found and reunited with Kyle for their happy ending!
I'm enjoying this incredible drama immensely, but I'm mystified as to why so many people are calling it a low-budget production. From what I can see, it's anything but. The costumes are magnificent, and it looks as though the entire production was filmed on location in China.
This was a wonderful period drama, beautifully told and the first period BL drama for GMMTV. I hope they do more of them. Despite all the odds against them, both couples have happy endings. Congratulations to all concerned.
It was touch and go with Per and Kan, thanks to Per's conservative, interfering mother, who demanded Kan remove himself from Per's life. Having avoided Per for most of the episde, I'm glad that when they finally caught up with each other in 4/4 that both boys were straightforward with each other. I particularly like Per's line, "Who are you dating: me or my mother?" Put like that, it was hard for Kan to resist Per any longer. Poor boy, he looked so miserable and it really doesn't suit him. The Per Kan fell for is cheerful, cheeky and has an irresistible charm. Thank goodness he came to his senses.
What the hell. Such an ambiguous ending. Kyle learns that Andres is lost at sea, and then we have flashbacks of their happy times together, culminating in the final scene of them kissing while standing at the helm of the Hermoso. Is that meant to imply he was found, or is it a ploy to make us think their love was reunited? Either way, it is unsatisfactory. There must at least be a special episode showing how miraculously Andres was saved from certain death, leading to them being lovers again.
I've just finished watching Ep. 4 and the worst thing about this series is that half the subtitles are missing. People start saying something but after the first few words, the rest is missing and sometimes conversations between two people have no subititles after the first few words are spoken. It is immensely irritating and a disgrace that the producers of this series let it go to air like this.
Surely Junxi is too young to have a kid and to our knowledge, he's never had a relationship with a girl. I mean, the way that kid just bowls up at the door and says 'Daddy' as soon as he sets eyes on Junxi is a tad ridiculous, as if he's been given a photo by someone and told, "This is your dad", then drops him off alone at their apartment. It's too far-fetched and a logical explanation has to be provided.
So many harsh comments which imo are undeserved. Since it began, the series has definitely improved. Mind you, there's nothing outstanding about it but it passes muster.
So, Knight and Per are half-brothers, with the same father, who I think isn't aware of the history between Knight and Mild, and is unconcerned with Per's love life, unlike his mother, who gave the stare of death to Dr. Kan for some reason. How would she know about Per and Kan's romance unless Per told her about it, which I doubt.
Undoubtedly the most entertaining and enjoyable show of the year, and a historical drama at that! So much is going on but in the end it doesn't amount to much. Just as well. With the King appearing after all the nonsense in the prison cell, I would like to see him release the four guys there and lock up instead the nasty Count with the moustache, who I'm sure is up to no good.
I have one nagging question, however. As Kosol is the older brother of the King, why wasn't he crowned? Did he decide to abdicate his right in favour of his brother? Maybe he did...
All these mini episode Korean series, which have become a fixture and in essense are all rather similar, feature dialogue and situations that are quite unrealistic, particularly for the age group they focus on. Watching them every week is more painful than if the story were presented as a single video. It may be an unpopular opinion but it's hard to think otherwise - this one in particular.
It's easy to see why Win is attracted to Nut. Apart from being cute, he's like a sad, lost puppy, begging to be held and cuddled. Pity he has such a horrid father. Win's got a tough job ahead to change the future.
Available complete on Daily Motion. Note: though it is available on YouTube, the last 10 minutes is cut off the…
You should have said PBS World, then I would have found what was on that site and not said anything. I don't know anything about illegal copies or watermarks on posters, nor have I seen any other commentors here mention Thai PBS or its branch, Thai PBS World.
With Ep. 4, this series has finally found its feet, though I'm mystified by some of the sound effects which make no sense. Of the leads, I prefer Tul to Meen, who I think is generally a nicer and more appealing character.
even tho I don't understand what they're talking about sometimes I'm still loving this lovey dovey couple
Yes, too often with these little productions, the dialogue is kinda weird, filled with abstractions and philosophical meanderings that in the end don't add up to much, but I supposed the main thing is they're talking to each other.
I have one nagging question, however. As Kosol is the older brother of the King, why wasn't he crowned? Did he decide to abdicate his right in favour of his brother? Maybe he did...
I gave it 9/10
