@Enigma05 Thanks for the pictures of the main couple at Disneyland. She looks younger and more beautiful with long hair. They both look really good in the pictures. Seeing their pictures...makes me want to go to Disneyland. I haven't been there for a while.

I just checked his Weibo and it seems he's still good friends with FL. He helped promote her new drama a few months ago.

Episode 7&8 show the progress of their relationship. She trusts him enough to share her investigations and he's helping her bringing them closer together.

I think she's not totally useless. She's at a crossroad. Many young adults experienced similar problems. They're confused and don't know what they really want.

This is legit complaint about her character but that's life. When you fall in love, you're blind and are willing to accept the person "as is". But I believe that it's difficult to be the wife of someone in the military. She will change for the better after marriage.

I did a quick search. I remembered the backlash against the main couple of that drama was so much. She lost out so many roles because of it and he struggled to recover from it.

Wow. I remembered the main couple of Fireworks of my heart had major setbacks to their careers after that drama aired. Both wishes to forget about that drama.

Anyway, I agree that the military scenes are not its strength or the main draw for me. The drama is just ok so far.

Right now it's in between. I would say it's not bad. Depending on what you're looking for. As for the military stuff, if you don't nitpick then it's ok. For relationship, they have good chemistry so far. It takes time to warm up since it's a pretty long drama. It was filmed about 4 years ago in 2021. Nowadays, dramas are shorter so storyline moves much faster. You can skim through it first and decide. I was reluctant to start too but I find it charming now.

Yeah, it's true. They always show sacrifices in the line of duty. I guess we have to be prepared. I saw some explosions and fires so I know for sure someone is injured but hopefully he won't die.

You're welcome. Just give it a try. By episode 6, they have a cute dynamic. Imagine both are awkward and inexperienced in relationships at age 30 (estimated) :)

Based on the teasers, it seems like 2 people in the squad will get hurt but no one dies.

I think the fair rating should be around 7 - 7.5 now. It's not bad but we need time to warm up to it. It's an easy watch. Chemistry is good so far. They're warming up to each other.

I think the 2nd couple will get married first and the main couple will get married in the last episode.

I think it'll be a mix between career and love for both couples, don't worry :) At first, they'll focus on their careers then as time goes on, there will be a shift. It's usually like that for this type of drama.

Thanks for the insights on diving. For Chinese dramas, most of the water scenes are usually filmed in some swimming pools so it's hard to depict everything accurately. After a few dramas, I just take their words for it...hehe.

I think they hired real divers for this scene so they didn't have to act.

I think she's not too old for the role. She needs to look around 30 or close to 30 because that's the age that Chinese parents want their daughters to be married. It's an invisible deadline. You can feel the urgency in her dad's voice and demeanor.

It's better that she's not a soldier under him. She can be more free in expressing her thoughts. I enjoy the tension.

If you watch the ending song, you'll see a summary of the drama already. We're guaranteed a happy ending. I think this drama will be easy to watch. The main draw now is the chemistry between main couple. We've seen this story so many times before.
