BHR didn’t know about her fertility issues until they tried for a baby and she found out she couldn’t get…
Yes, upon rewatching some scenes, I had to go back and edit my comment. I liked how quickly she moved on. Whatever her real reason for changing her mind, she's not vindictive and as even her father-in-law gives her credit for, she moves fast.

Good point about the furniture shopping scene. Light and bright, almost California casual kind of furniture versus the showy, darker furniture that she's arranging to move. Hearing the hopeful OST with the Song Won scenes, I would be very surprised if something happened to the baby at this point.

I like the prince. If she wants to hurt him, I won't have any problem watching her die the most painful way possible.
I know - that troubles me. I share his Marxist revolutionary leanings too, but when the meat is not killed cleanly, best to avoid it.
Let's not forget that SPY's aunt is getting married too. Probably won't end very well, but who are we to rain on her parade? To each her own! I loved how SPY tells Jia that she will respect her choice about marriage. That one can have a fulfilling life - possibly even more - without marriage. Marriage nowadays can be anything one makes of it.

Also loving how the professor's kids are satisfied that their mom won't just take him back and that Uam is learning how to cook for himself.

Having rewatched some of the scenes today, had to comment on how truly miserable Yoo Shin is. He was so cocky and self-assured before. Seeing him make ramen in his black t-shirt, I couldn't help but laugh and also feel pity.

I hope whatever it is that embittered you to the extent that you would want this for someone else, fictional or not, gets worked out. Truly. Peace to you.

I’m with you but this writer doesn’t seem inclined to give that kind of victory to the wives. She’s spent…
In 2021 after countless makjang revenge dramas, what would be a satisfying victory for the wives in your opinion?

I"m sorry for her infertility if she truly wants to conceive. But BHR had lots of other issues - don't forget her abusive personality.

Suddenly supporting BHR because she has a baby issue is absurd. I’m sorry but it made me dislike her more! How…
BHR - not just self-serving but abusive, narcissistic and materialist. Wonder what went wrong in her childhood. I actually liked her until the extent of her abusiveness was shown in the restaurant scene. Can't see her being happy in a future relationship until she does a lot of personal work, the way that Song Won did.

A Mi - I'm liking her more and hope she gives Yoo Shin everything he deserves. Hehehe. Agree with the others who thought the bathtub scene was gross. She could do much better. Wonder if Korea still has a standards office? That plus the nude ghost scenes were questionable.

Shi Eun - older, more risk averse, and I'm disappointed that there wasn't more character development. It's as though her life continued on with one less mouth to feed or a scar that healed over. No exploration of the other parts of herself, no dating?

Song Won - may the grace she found later in life continue to spill over into PSH's family. I loved how his father ignored Dong Mi in the golf lounge, and I like to think that seeing her as an example of kindness and radiance is holding him to his newfound commitment to his wife. Generosity begets generosity.

Ga Bin - remains to be seen. She is uninteresting as a character. And for a musical star, her voice is just flat and weak.

We do not "suddenly" support Hye Ryung. I supported her from the very start! And wow for twisting the story. She…
I don't think it's helpful to assume that the writer is writing from personal experience and age. Give her some credit for her craft and artistry as a drama writer.

I also think it is Hye Ryung's right to have that privacy, to keep her condition a secret from those people who…
Agreed. Plus, PHS's parents are conservative but not vindictive. I don't think they would have driven her out for infertility the way that SW's in-laws did. But they would have asked her to accommodate SW into the family somehow and she wasn't prepared to do that. Fair enough.

Sure - she should ask for what she wants. The family can afford it it and they consider it a fair price for a clean break. What the PSH and SW haters seem to forget is how truly sorry he is to her. When BHR thought he was upset about the alimony amount, he showed maturity in expressing remorse for putting his parents (and her) through so much.

I liked BHR as a person, not a wife, in the beginning but lost all respect for her after the restaurant scene. My low opinion of her plummeted after she told her older colleagues that older women are unattractive. How rude. Telling them that she was the perfect wife took deception/self-deception to a new level. Re-watching the scenes today, though, I give her credit for being decisive and having no miryeon about it. Which reminded me of why I liked her originally.

The way this drama is progressing, I can't even predict the ending. I thought the handsome brother will end up…
I try to understand opposing viewpoints. But I just don't get the hate for PSH's family. Why are they shameless? They were willing to support BHR either way, and it is not unreasonable for them to want the elegant solution that she offered. Plus, they like her because Song Won isn't high maintenance. Everyone agreed that it would be ok for the parents to see SW during the pregnancy. What is shameless about any of this?

I am really getting used to A-Mi's character. I still hate what she did, but she's sweet and thoughtful.
I didn't like A Mi in the beginning and wondered what he saw in her. But having read the comments and reflected on her some more, perhaps what he appreciates about her is her uncomplicated emotional self.

What was missing from his marriage was emotion or passion. Both SPY and Yoo Shin are cerebral people who talk a lot without conveying meaning (go back and watch Ep 11 if you can - going through that hour again would be torture for me!). Again, I'm not saying that he was right to indulge in the affair and lead a younger woman along, destroying his marriage and driving AM to self-destruction.

What the men found lacking in their marriages, they seemed to have found in other people. They could have easily examined themselves, held themselves more responsible for their part in it, and generate what was lacking (kindness and compassion for Sung Hoon, sexuality and joie de vivre for Hae Ryoon, and emotional vulnerability for Yoo Shin), but they didn't. (Well, Sung Woon tried). A lot of people suffered as a result. Perhaps that was what the writer was exploring, not "rewarding cheaters".

I don't know about "noble"...maybe strategic. For someone like that, living and socializing in Cheongdamdong Villa (not unlike Penthouse) is more in line with her boogie values.

That would be a shame. At this point, if people are wishing harm to the baby or that couple, it's out of spite. I think three episodes is not enough time to spring that on us. The writer stlil needs to resolve NGB, the professor and that love triangle and the ghost. Plus Dong Mi and A Mi need to duke it out.

Feels that way. I mean, people here are still cheering BHR on despite her bratty way of telling her 40+ colleagues/friends that SW can't possibly be attractive because she's so OLD. Or that she is baffled why her husband cheated on her because she was a perfect wife. Granted, she's more of a comic book character than my definition of a bold, confident woman, but how unappealing can a character be?

Whereas SPY was a flat, boring character before, and has become more nuanced and interesting as she is forced to reflect and atone.
