The writer is clearly talented, but as others have said, remaking The Fiery Priest in the mold of Vincenzo diluted the strengths of the original show. The puppet and the ghost were over the top - jarring. I wish he had focused more on the duality of the two main leads - worthy opponents, and rivals for Lee HanNee’s affection. Not as memorable as S1, but still worth finishing.

Yes! LYK makes me laugh anytime he’s on screen. I read that there was a lot of ad libbing - PMY and LYK must have had a romp playing these scenes. SHY was great too.
I saw this last Sunday at the CGV cinema in Buena Park. Only a handful of people in the audience. It IS funny and quite Korean. Would never have known that it was a remake of a French movie!
