I saw the first episode of The Company You Keep. Huuge disappointment. Has none of the arch humor of MFC. The cliched sex scenes were cheesy and there was no chemistry at all.

I started watching MFL to compare and this was far, far superior.

I actively disliked this drama, and not actually for the reasons you cite. It was plodding and dull, and Im Soo Huang’s acting was risible.

Oh no! I powered through Hwarang despite my intense dislike of Go Ara b/c of the MLs and Min Ho, a delightful surprise.

I’ll continue with Fab because I also love Chae Soo Bin, but man, apart from Business Proposal, 2022 has been a meager year for rom coms.

yes, she’s awfully self-righteous. I don’t think she’s like Jo March in spirit at all. The drinking, the hollering, the calling out, the threats to cut off her sister - nothing like the original character. I also don’t care for the actor either. Thought she was annoying and over the top in Suspicious Partner too.

Penthouse was over the top; S3 was flat out ridiculous. I found the knotty friendships of this drama very compelling. It stayed with me much longer.

I had no idea that Kim Hye Ja had such comedic chops. But despite strong turns from an all-star cast, Son Ho Jun stole the show.

No information about the writer? I have not seen the director's other works, but will tune in because of the female leads: Kim Sun Ah, Lee Mi Sook and Im Se Mi. Ahn Jae Wook is just icing on the cake.
