Actually I would have given this show an 7.5/10, but I gave it a 6.5/10, because...
... they killed Alberto! The writer had no mercy with the second couple! Seo Dan had for over 10 years an unrequited love and finally finds a man who appreciates her & shows her her true value. He mad her happy and liked her a lot. And he wasn't a bad person, he just wanted to revenge his dad. In the end he got killed, while Seri's dad lived his live in luxury... It is sooooooo unfair!
For me the ending wasn't that bad, it's just the normal, boring ending of kdramas. It didn't ruin the drama. The story wasn't very unique, but the main couple was very cute & I really liked the FL. The second couple on the other hand was too cringe for me to watch bc in my eyes the actors had no chemistry together, so everything seemed too forced...
Tbh even though while reading the webtoon suho kept reminding me of eunwoo, I really didn't want him to play this role, bc this character is far too similar to the one in miigb...

Already in the first episode it's very clear what a great character she is. Even though they are in a bad situation, she always saw the good things and was the emotional pillar for her family. She saw 2 people die right in front of her eyes, first one her own brother and second a boy whom she adored and who reminded her of her own brother. Her mother got ill, so she had to toughen up and couldn't sink into the sorrow. Then when her father joined the cult, she was all alone, but she still didn't give up and stayed sane. Nobody listened to her, even the police turned its back on her, but she was still sane and didn't give up.
She is sooo courageous and tough! The milk scene in the canteen, how she got the evidence for the rape & murder in the last episode, ...

The only thing that I don't like & the reason I gave this drama 9.5 instead of 10 is the ending. I understand that there is no reunion of all the cellmates of je hyuk, but I would have liked to see how everyone is excited for je hyuk's first game. Like min chul & dr. Go watching the game at home with their families (maybe even together) and captain yoo, looney, kaist, etc listening from prison and so on. It would have been a more well rounded ending...

Looney is my fav character, he is so sly & so good at throwing comments. His voice, facial expressions & comments are gold! Je hyuk is like a teddy bear, he is sooo cute! Rather than stupid, he is slow. He is a good person, knows what's right and what's wrong. And he is also very sly, his relationship with the Warden is hilarious. We don't even need to talk about the bromance with Joon ho, it's soo good. Joon ho's brother is so hilarious, I enjoyed his relationship with his hyung a lot! Lieutenant Peang is such a good person, he gives the prisoners a chance to be humans. Those who earn it, to those he is very good (looney, min chul, ...). And he also gave captain yoo a chance to tell his story, something that no one else did.
I'm just gonna pretend Han Yang got a good ending because they had him set up for that. Also wasn't the drug dealer…
Captain was at the beginning homophobic, but after Looney told him, we can see a change. Captain first ignored him (to avoid body contact?), but then he changes his attitude: Saves Looney, asks him for advice and he even fights with looney again (he is okay with body contact). He at least tolerates looney, or even accepts him.
