I’ll be on the lookout for that. He definitely feels something for her. I’m on episode five and I can see that he is at least deeply attracted to her. I totally understand trust issues. I’ve heard people say the two are similar, and yet different. I’m curious to see him play out. He’ still hasn’t been shown enough to really know him.

I am looking forward to the arc you described. I’m watching his words and actions closely so I can see what you described about him play out. It seems there are hints about his nature in the earlier episodes, though…not the humorous side you described. That side he must keep very hidden. That will be fun to see develop.

I’m really curious to see it, and how they will end this show. I can’t think of another drama that gives quite this feel.

I’m curious about him. I keep wondering if he will be hard to like for a short period or for a long time. I assume he will be unlikeable at some point. Though not all dramas go that route.

I get why she married him. He dazzled her with kindness and charm and she fell in love. I’ve seen clips where he said he never loved her. (I tried to turn away from the clips, but they sought me out. I couldn’t resist). So why did he marry her? She doesn’t have wealth, and her influence wasn’t vast. So far he’s barely shown so I am curious…what’s he thinking.

I’m getting ahead of myself by asking this, I’m almost on episode four, but…

I sometimes wondered if I was the only one. Sometimes i pause a show and just research how much longer a certain stressful plot line will continue.

I couldn’t put off starting this anymore. One thing I don’t understand, why when she does it do I feel a sympathy towards her, but when he does it…I don’t feel sympathy towards him? Is it good writing, good acting, or just that…it’s zhao Lu si and if she cries I might too?

The younger brother irritates me. I’m so annoyed with the black dragon for giving him so much information! I would always keep him out of the loop and might consider making him move far away where he couldn’t constantly interfere. Send him to the mortal realm a couple times.

I’m trying desperately to finish the drama I’m watching before i start this one. It is so difficult, not because I’m not enjoying the other one but…the clips I’ve seen are driving me crazy.

That’s interesting, does that make it more of a standalone movie or should they be watched in order?

Uuuugggg…I hate when they just try to validate bad behavior in dramas. Yes, everyone has reasons for what they do, but you still need to grow and change from it. Just being understandable doesn’t make toxic behavior less harmful. We deserve a repentance arc!
Edit: that uuuugg wasn’t at you. It was frustration stemming from remembering all the dramas where a person or the story justifies their actions instead of having them apologize, learn, grow, repent, etc. I’ve seen drama where they slaughter families and the fl lead shrugs it off with a kiss or when the ml gives a “cute” half apology.

I’m really excited cause I haven’t watched most of those. Thank you so much for doing that for me. I get in a mood where I just need a drama like that. I appreciate this.

I’ve been trying to decide if they tried to justify the abusive father, any thoughts?

Are the other shows sequels? Pillow book and…I’m confused a bit.
