Me a little bit confused by half the accounts commenting here registered since ... oh, surprise today!
To the topic. As long as there's nationalism and an overidentification with a culture someone's belong to there will be always be an oversensitivity to humoric representations of stereotypes. But i guess like with everything it's about awareness and not confuse clichées with prejudices or the other way round.
The Problem with on-site viewers is depending on the system to vote and who's actually attending.
Imagine 60 hardcore stans of 300 that decide to just by principle downvote all others and just upvote their favorite, than you have at least 4 of 5 groups that can never have more than 240 points. Imagine that this behavior is shown by at least half of the voters and you have low average vote. Lee Chae Yeon was not really a good example in her behavior downvoting just everybody because.
A show where not skill and talent is appreciated but it's plainly just about winning looks actually exactly like that. Unter the disguise of balance Bora formed the teams in the second episode not to be outshined and i cannot deny that i was extremely really happy that it backfired.
Nana and Hwiseo did a very good job in forming the groups that it's enjoyable for the viewer. I really enjoyed the remix battles.
For the forming of the All-rounder battle i can just say that it's a typical mnet sucker move. But with Doh Wa and Hwiseo as apperently strong opinion leaders in the 2nd group i see a few hidden talents that they might form strategic smart undergroups. Also it's finally time for Yeonhee to shine and not be unfairly bitchslapped by 3 red jealous cherries. Still can't understand why Bora took the subvocal intro AND dance part ...Well if you have 2 well trained underlings and 3 vote of 5 i guess this is what happens.
Can't deny that maybe i'm a victim of the evil editing, but i really hope for some nice unexpected twists for this upcoming battle.
SciFi Fan here. Absolutely loved it. Definetely no complicated story, but i loved how the characters and backstories are showed. It was simple but not plain.
Most Futuristic stories have unfortunately very bad CGI, so i especially enjoyed the high quality visual aesthetics. Considering that it was based on a webtoon and has to stick to it's origin to not disappoint the fans i felt it was well executed.
For a mainly action genre pretty solid. Rarely seen good action dramas that have a solid plot and good actors.
after watching the trailer for the next episode i have decided to gaslight myself into thinking ep 35 is the ending…

This is perfect where it ended for now. I can't take no more drama for a while. Let me live with the illusion that this is the happy end. At least for a while, till i can binge till the next level of happy end.
Pondered a lot about the high expectations and rules implied on korean idols, how they have to behave. I somehow understand therefore the anger how Karam's Team was treated.
Nevertheless i will not boycott the success of especially Team 11:00. Team 7:00 and 11:00 deserve to finally find recognition - if it's through this show. I'm in. At least they are supported for a word tour.
Guess i'm taking a position that is more differentiated.
When i first saw him i was curious about which dramas he already participated and was surprised he had no leading part yet. But then considering his skills and talent i thought it would not take long till he got one :) Finally.
