So, being gay, in your opinion, precludes you from acting like a bigot?! Did I get that one right? Ok, then please supply me with a better word to decribe someone who unreasonably clings to their own beliefs and shows extreme intolerance for people who disagree with them, pelting them with derisive remarks and insults left and right?:D Also, you'd notice (if you cared) that I did not say you ARE a bigot, just that you SOUND like one in your comments. Your complete disregard for context astounds me. This is a global film forum, why wouldn't people use such a common phrase from film/culture studies like queer narrative here? Especially, since it can't be easily substituted and certainly not with "gay-themed story". I'm pretty sure you know how those two phrases differ, you just like to get a rise out of people... Next, you're gonna be claiming that someone on MDL used an N-word equivalent slur towards you because you're gay... But, of course, you haven't said that:D

Terrible. Just awful. It is so embarrassing when a BL, on a BL budget, tries to be an action/thriller or SyFy/horror…
I find it hilarious that you'd mock people for their word choices when they're trying to communicate in a clear and precise way (queer narrative) - but your own comments are so sarcasm-heavy and full of ambiguous statements that they've been, according to you, repeatedly 'misunderstood' here. Maybe instead of calling people dense, you double-check what you've written first:D To me, you come off as very bigoted in your comments. But I assume I'm misinterpreting your words too lol. I agree with what others already said about the show. 'Not me' is not a mission Impossible wannabe. It's a pretty straightforward Young Adult show with social commentary, that obviously has found its audience among the bl watching crowd.

Wow, that's quite a rant:D How do you know that Yok Dan is a clichéd 'love at first sight' scenario? Do you have…
Oh, I loved the crocodoc! From the series perspective, it was so much more fun than let's say watching a group of 'geeks' running complex formulas in Excel to decide on their next mission:D I also agree with the general direction of the plot. It's good that they failed and I hope they'll become suspects. My problem with the plan was that I can't see it harming Tawi in any way, even if it succeeded. That'd be just a small hiccup easily solved by PR. When Sean said that he wanted to destroy Tawi's businesses, it sounded like he's gonna start buying up explosives on darknet, so when he came up with that powder....;) I do quite like how unpredictable this show is turning out to be.

You mean other than letting crocodoc decide which causes are worth risking their hides?:D For me, this episode plays like a one long chain of really dumb decisions. Starting with that whole scheme being basically pointless (a lot of risk for the boys and zero real impact to Tawi) and ending with their blase attitude about leaving behind evidence tying them to the crime scene (even though there's a witness!) There are a lot more examples mentioned all over this thread:)

Nah, it's attraction with some fanciful words at best;) Haven't you ever asked your friends to stalk your random crushes at school?:D Not sure that punch says instant reciprocation either (though probably yes because... BL;)
OK,I get what type of comments you meant now... Still think the show could do with more story arcs going on at the same time, instead of focusing so heavily on gang/Tawi

I swear bl fans are such hypocrites. Everytime a fluffy bl gets big they complain and complain that we need 'better…
Wow, that's quite a rant:D How do you know that Yok Dan is a clichéd 'love at first sight' scenario? Do you have inside knowledge? Cause so far they got like 3 minutes screentime and 15 spoken words total. Meanwhile, the young vigilantes and their grudge got two full episodes filled with all flavour of stupid. Can you really blame people that they'd rather go with some good old romance?;) To me, connecting with someone while pumped with adrenaline from doing illegal shit, and then that someone turning out to be a cop, is quite a juicy setup. I see a potential for a not-so-clichéd storyline there, so it's disappointing it didn't get any development.

Is Sean insane? Is that the twist? Is this dark romance?:D Cause it takes a special mind to come up with a plan where the outcome isn't worth even 5% of the risk. Even if that batch would somehow slip through the final quality control. It would just be recalled after the first couple customer complaints. Things like that happen often enough and usually don't seriously impact the brand. Keying Tawi's car would probably have more personal impact... Then, what sane person would give the most important job to the weakest, most unstable link in the chain? He really should blame himself for that one. And what's that psycho ending that came out of nowhere? Oh, there was also that line about not needing gloves! Though I'm not sure if that's insane or just really dumb:D

Seriously though, I can't help but agree that the plot has gotten off the rails in the last 2 eps. There are so many interesting directions they could've taken this story. I was hoping to see what the parents are up to, Dan's work as a cop, or more W at the ministry forced to confront his beliefs with the corrupt reality. Why have the writers decided to put the characters in these increasingly logic-defying volatile situations instead?

I am LMAO at the red bull comparison, but whatever PPL happening in this series , believe me it's not as bad/much…
Lol haven't watched that one. Heard it's fluffy? , I don't really mind it as long as they're not breaking out into full conversations about the benefits of drinking whatever it is;)

Yes! I think someone with a natural poker face, conveying emotions in subtle ways, would work better with this…
Good for him: D I hope it's clear I don't think he's a bad actor, just not necessarily the best fit for this role. Sure, life would be much less fun if we all agreed with each other;)

But not being good at something is not the same as not even trying;p It'd just be more engaging and enjoyable for me, if the actor had a more inscrutable or enigmatic style, and a chance to pull it off, instead of failing so conspicuously. And I'm not so sure he was supposed to, otherwise why the need for tests or traps in the script... Of course, I don't know Gun's range as an actor and he may yet blow me away with his rebellious B persona. It also could've been the director's decision to have him look so openly scared or adorably lost 80% of the time to tug at our heartstrings: D Doesn't change the fact that it made this rather unlikely scenario even more of a stretch for me.

I love Gun, but if Black/White were played by other actor I feel like the story would work even better.
Yes! I think someone with a natural poker face, conveying emotions in subtle ways, would work better with this plot. Gun is like an open book. A scared sh1tless open book: D I was thinking from ep1 that no way they won't suspect him when the guy is practically oozing fear;)

I feel like the title of ep5 should be 'Do not attempt it at home kids';)) Cute n' creepy stalking, martial heroes style jumping with no run-up, and whatever classic horror that last scene came from... Is that drink they're advertising like red bull? giving people wings?:D W is starting to drive me a little crazy. Maybe he should feign a sprained ankle or an upset stomach, and take a minute to just think... Ah right, he doesn't have to worry about fooling them that much. Cause B hasn't TOLD anyone he's got a twin, and since they're the only two people in the world who know about it … oh wait;) This is getting so messy and I'm enjoying the hell out of it;)

If you're just here in the comment section to shit on this drama, just gtfo. If you don't like the show, cool.…
Urgh, seriously?! Why are there so many patronising comments in this thread... We are all bound by the same site TOS. As long as people comply with them, they can write whatever they want. I like the show, but if someone got disappointed by it, they have a right to vent here. You can discuss, block, ignore or report. But this ain't your private playground to be telling people to gtfo!

to watch now or to wait. Ugh such a difficult decision
It's really a question of preference. You have a show that weaves an erratic mystery with quite a few characters that look like they're hiding things. So you come up with theories, scenarios and questions. Then the new, very short (40+ min) episode finally airs and, not only doesn't answer any of those, but stirrs the action in a completely new direction, introducing even more suspicious people;)
Now, what do you do?
- get frustrated to death and throw your footwear at the screen?
- get excited that you have another full seven days to come up with even more questions, theories and scenarios?
There's your decision. Choose wisely: D

The wait for ep5 is gonna kill me... I want to know the PLAN!! Is it gonna be gas grenades or yet unrevealed hacking skills? I thought their last 'venture' was the pinnacle of stupidity, but maybe Sean's idea will outmatch that achievement:D If they're going for legitimate biz, then they're playing with a lot of livelihoods. If the other kind, then they should read up on the term power vacuum first. Anyway, that must have been some vodka;p I do enjoy the rising tension between Sean and White a lot! I hope ep5 will be explosive in more ways than one:D

Noone but shady Tod seems to know what happened to B? I mean the guy was almost beaten to death. Shouldn't there…
I'm enjoying all of these as well. I don't mind loose threads when I'm watching sth light or fluffy. But the creators seem to want us to think about what we're watching, then they better come up with a plausible setup;)
I think most of us struggle with such things. When we stop, dictatorships are born. I have a very pragmatic attitude towards any kind of activism - a calculation of goal vs. risk/cost/effort. If the outcome isn't worth the risk, then it's not worth it. Burning down a house in the middle of a forest in any case sounds supremely moronic:D Definitely not worth risking their careers in law, which they could do more good with in a few years. They hinted that it was personal for B though, so maybe there's a juicy revenge plot in the background. I don't think these themes are rare in popular TV - at least where I live, just maybe in the romance genre;) Anyway, let's see where they take this series! I do hope for more good music...

Good premise, bad pacing. The first half was too slow to really engage me. When it finally got interesting - we got some answers and even more questions were raised (there was a pretty big revelation about the past just dropped there by the end, not to be explored) - the movie ended. I'd happily watch a re-edited version.

It's the soundtrack that makes this series for me. So good! But do you guys think White is actually fooling anyone?…
Noone but shady Tod seems to know what happened to B? I mean the guy was almost beaten to death. Shouldn't there be a police inquiry? In which case they'd go question the gang? Plus his mom's a judge? I also find it weird that the father didn't connect the dots when his healthy son suddenly collapsed. His reply about mom and B was also weird af. Well, I'm curious how they'll spin the story from this point. Hope they won't leave glaring plot holes...

It's the soundtrack that makes this series for me. So good! But do you guys think White is actually fooling anyone? Or do most of them know? To me, he looks same as both B and W, just wearing different clothes. From what everyone says, B seems reckless and fearless. But W looks scared half to death most of the time. Maybe they should've lengthened the preparation time so it doesn't seem that he just went there half-cocked, with little to no knowledge about his brother. At this point, I'm more intrigued by the real B:) Would love to see some clips from his past. Also was it ever explained why..
