Aww it's like my old job with boss coming up with half-baked ideas and everyone trying to push it on whoever's not at work that day:D I would've fainted too. I already like Li Shande. He's the type of character that's easy to root for, especially in that sea of schemers. Great start!

Lol now I can see it's the character’s name at the top. I think the colours blinded me before;) It's even more ridiculous, it definitely should be changed back. I recently tried replacing an old poster for a drama that was banned in China and now airs in Japan, with one that was officially released by the new network but was rejected with a long litany of guidelines. But a character poster with the name of the drama cut off at the bottom is OK?🙃

Sounds very encouraging:) I already watch two emotionally demanding dramas, so I'm in the mood for something lighter. I had high hopes for Thirteen Hongs but I guess it's shelved for good.

I'm bracing myself cause c-dramas have an awful track record of incomplete, illogical or emotionally unsatisfying endings - but since this doesn't air in China, maybe we'll get lucky 🤞🤞🤞

Maybe wowow got exclusive rights and we have to wait for it to finish airing... I really hope this gets a proper international release. It'd be fun to rewatch it with more people.

WZ interactions with XHY is prime comedy. At this point, whenever I see them together, I fully expect one of them will say something outrageous.

Yep, the less physical contact, the more the tension builds up between them. It's some kind of irony, really. I mean the deep feelings are still embedded in the story and come loud and clear through the acting. I don't watch many non-dangai bromances but I guess they don't have quite as many long soulful stares;)

He does look serious. I prefer his styling here. This hair colour suits him:)

Ep21 made me cry like a baby, ep22 was funny and warm, ep23 was funny and off-the-scale intense, so I'd say pretty good;)

This is an appreciation comment for the lighting in this drama. It consistently surprises me how good it is, how much it adds to the emotions in different scenes. In ep22 when PS talks on the phone by the window he's illuminated in cool blue light. Then he turns back, sees WZ bathed in soft warm tones and tells WW they may never reach ‘that point’. I feel like the shift in tone conveys the feeling of hope - that WZ has become that for him. Not sure if it was deliberate, but I love that moment so much! I watched it an unhealthy number of times:)

She's definitely not family. Probably a friend from uni. I don't think Keen would ask her for the money... and even if she earns a lot, it doesn't mean she's got huge amount of cash on hand.
