I mean seriously the show had become hypocrite when he instantly falls for Go woon. They could have shown like…
Ikr...those are the good examples to show to young people? I know that the appearance matters but it's not THAT important, a 5 minutes relationship for him is more significant that years next to each other. At the end I had the impression the ml only pitied seul bi. And she is pretty and lovable, her only problem is that she didn't knew that. I'm wondering what the actress think about her role o.o
Really disappointed by this drama! The male lead treated Seul Bi as a student and a friend while he fell instantly…
Also, in the cover Kim Min Young seems thinner. I would be rolling on the floor if I would discover she's been photoshopped. I mean, what a great message.
Really disappointed by this drama! The male lead treated Seul Bi as a student and a friend while he fell instantly for her thin version...I thought this drama was about embracing ourselves as we are and in the end I got a load of romance between the ml and a stereotyped version of fl...which just seemed wrong to me, she just fouled him. I wished they focused less on her obsession with the writer and more on her "fighting back" and gaining the respect she deserves as a human being. At the end she was like the crazy and whining one while he was a "victim" and your message is if your fat you can only have the friendship. Wow.
Unpopular opinion, but this is why I was sorely disappointed by episode 14 and 15: Firstly, about breaking up:They…
Oh the noble idiocy trope...someone pointed out that there are no triangles but I'd rather have that than the noble idiocy...the thing that's most annoying is that one of the two arbitrary decides what's better for the couple.
Rant! contains spoiler, also my english is bad but whatvever ^^ At first I thought that the main lead was cute…
YOU JUST SPOKE THE TRUTH. I was scrolling the comments to see if I was the only one to feel this way about the man. It's just like "yeah he's a stalker, a psycho overcontrolling douchebag but he's rich and he is hot so it's okay to be harassed by him" and that's a big no no to me. Like th efact he was cheated could excuse his posessiveness. She also was annoying tbh but for some of the things she agreed to (like moving to his house) she was forced to the max so I guess she couldn't be helped but still I can't understand at all on what basis she started early to have feelings for him...I mean love could be blind but there's no way you can develop any feeling beside angst towards the guy that tried to make you homeless o.o
I just kept being so irked on the male lead's behaviour...too much bully and not a bit romantic or whatever! My eyes kept rolling while he was saying things like "I don't allow you to go to the dance school" "you can't do this and that" "you can't have male friends" "you have to come right away when I need you" and the list of similar sentences he said is pretty long! He basically fell in love at first sight but instead of trying to conquer her he forced her to move to the city and also to his house. And she just was all whining but no action! Wtf. That's not shippable! Not even the chocolate abs can save this xD totally lame.
For a fluffy romance is kinda ok (although I felt pain for the neck of the fem lead...he's too tall and she's so tiny xD) but I have to say that the amnesia/dementia plot doesn't make any sense even for dramaland standards! They should've reserchead a bit about it maybe.. Like how he can remember who's the secretary if he started working with him after the accident? Same goes for the house..and why the fork in 2018 he wrote a diary when he could actually record stuff on his damn phone?! I mean at least meetings and important stuff!
I agree so much with bof! I watched a bit of the last meteor garden because I thought they would adapt the plot to this age but man, still the same brew! Nowadays fortunately is not anymore considered romantic to have rude master/boyfriend who shake his bat around and punch whoever talks to his gf announcing "SHE IS MY PROPERTY". Since they decided to update their age (they have smartphones and stuff) maybe they should've correct all the things that are just bad examples for a relationship D:
Talking about cliches I like the "accidental kisses" just because they're TOO EXTRA I can't not laugh and applaude to all the creative ways they succeeded making two people tripping mouth to mouth! Also "I've seen you naked" and "wrong room"...generally speaking the embarrassing but funny cliches. The ones that make me fast forward are the ones that are too dramatic, first of all the freaking NOBLE IDIOCY (more generally when they arbitrarily decide what is the best without consulting the other part) and AMNESIA. Man!
A little note: why one must be richer or poorer? I would enjoy a drama in which both leads are "normal people" (the riches are like owner of the world - to me all that displaying of branded clothing, cars etc is a bit cringey - and the poors are beggars...there's so much between those two categories! )
"□ Boys Over Flowers needs to stop having remakes □" YES PLEASE. this plot is so done already, and even if…
OMG Itazura to me is the worst drama ever! I was irked every single episode D: the girl is so dumb and she has so little self esteem D: I think every one in this planet if is been treated as she was, no matter how much in love, would cool down and say goodbye to the rude ass boy. Why that should be romantic? If I remember correctly he even ditched her on their honeymoon (or bday?) and he was always like "ok I give you the sop if you stop to annoy me". Just too much wtf
Don't worry, you're not going to be judged in any way, not on my article comment section! :DIn fact, I kind of…
Well then I should watch also the original jap version which seems to be the most interesting to watch! I am not a fan of Lee Min Ho so I didn't even watched for the guy, it was just on top of a rec list and I blindly tried it xD
I tried watching the korean and the chinese new version, but both times I ended up dropping it. This (and itazura na kiss!!) make me feel so angry and frustrated rather than entertained almost the whole time and I feel a bit burdened (?) because it's so popular and I'm afraid to be judged as some kind of alien XD. The premise I admit had me hooked a bit even though is not particularly original, I enjoy as a girl to see a main female lead who is strong and with some attitude who takes no s** from anyone, despite her humble origins. But I have to say after first few episodes she disappoint me so so much at a point I actually want to flip every table within 100km! I mean, let alone the whole abusive boyfriend stuff romanticized, she just waver between the emo guy and the ml for most of the time and she's just being dragged to this or that mansion doing whatever they wanted (and this is also surreal, being on vacation so often, are you instagram celebrities?!). I only appreciated the fact that in the new chinese version - I don't remember seeing it in the k version - she has cooking skills and a dream job (even tho it looks more like an episode than something that's part of her life). I found her so annoying that even the despicable things the ml did couldn't divert my anger from her. There's this whole cloud of uncertainty between the two for so much time and it's so frustrating to watch! Also the other two guys are so flat, they're even cringy. Their only purpose is to give the input to the main leads to say their lines D:
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT. FINALLY!! Everytime I see this crap on the top three of drama recs around the web I shed blood tears I swear. Can we talk about the fact that she was amazed all the time because "OMG THE SCHOOL GOD/GENIUS SPOKE TO ME" (also every character in the show treated him like some mystical and powerful God <.<) and that he basically decided on his own that they're a couple? NOPE.
