This is my new obsession. I loved every single scene from these two eps. I’ve been desperate for an ex reunion plot and this is delivering. I am so curious about how they’ll get back in a relationship in the present day. It feels like both of them have changed quite a lot. Let Lu Feng chase begin, he must be dying inside and desperate after years of separation.
I instantly felt the chemistry between the leads. I couldn’t stop grinning esp the ring scene. The fact he still wears the ring and hid his hand in his pocket. Lu Feng is so possessive and straightforward. I was a bit iffy about the whole consent bed scene but i’m glad YiChen told him off for it. At the same time, I couldn’t help but like this wolf side of LuFeng lol I feel like that’s why LuFeng didn’t go too far in the office bathroom scene. I bet he would’ve kissed YiChen, if it was his young self.
YiChen’s little brother is going to understand very soon. I love the little snippet. I wish there was at least a support friend for YiChen and LuFeng. But I guess that’s why they’re meant for each other, cause no one else understands.
\- MIM! Mim I love you so much and everything you do, but fish bread???
\- Jeez, Wine. You have fallen HARD. Saying you want to eat Lal's name less is such a lie - you want to DEVOUR this woman.
\- We know that it doesn't happen because Ciize's character is coming, but TangkwaNumnin is such a cute pair.
\- I loved Lal's shit-eating grin when she blew up that co-worker with his wife. She was so hot this episode. I also got very... affected by her chuckling at Wine after the bowling party because of her stumbly drunkenness. There are so many small things that Jan is doing with Lal's character that make you really see why Wine is falling so hard for her.
\- There is something about JanJingjing that makes me feel the same way I did when I first started watching Us and fell for EmiBonnie as a pair. Just that natural, lived-in chemistry that they have jumps off the screen. Wine and Lal are both such dorks but in different ways. They compliment each other wonderfully.
Outfit Watch:
1. Kapook in this green off-shoulder sweater?? WOW. I mean, Kapook would look good in a burlap sack, but I gasped at that sweater.
2. Kapook AGAIN with an awesome shirt! That grey off-shoulder with the one belt style strap? So cool. I loved it just as a shirt and want to wear it, but then it also showed it with those casual yet elegant big flowing pants? Amazing
3. Wine's first blouse. Wine tends to almost dress in a uniform - classic blouse and no-nonsense skirt. It always looks good because it's Jingjing and because classic tailoring always looks classic. The first blouse especially was lovely because of the lace detailing. It really elevates a simple outfit.
Not yet but the boys have more or less confirmed it and on SM it has said the second season was coming and it will have 12 episodes. Just waiting for Eastone Entertainment or Glow Productions to announce it officially in a post. We are all just waiting, waiting😀😀😀😀 Hopefully we hear soon.
**I am usually a person of many words, but with this week’s episode I’m going to bite my tongue (*****real hard*****) and limit myself.** A show that has otherwise been so good for me up until this week left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand that where, and how, you’re raised will affect your values and the decisions that you make. I get that. I really do. I’m just exhausted of shitty ass parents getting unlimited passes on forgiveness in Thai BL’s and having it wrapped up in a pretty little bow of montages filled with “*happy moments*.”
Definitely an entertaining first episode. They may have toned it down a bit from the original pilot (trailer? I get the names/order confused), but it should still be a fun watch.
Now if someone could explain to me WHY all the shows have to be on Fri/Sat right now? The rest of my week is open!
This series tugged at my heartstrings every episode. Seeing these two male leads for the first time onscreen together was a joy and a revelation on how good bl series can be if acting, story, direction and beautiful cinematography are all in sync. The second couple were amazing as well with their fighting and kiss and make up relationship keeping us entertained 😊 A hidden gem of a series so thank you to cast, production team and subbers👏👏 Hope to see these young actors again soon. Maybe a special episode?
Well this was a memorable first episode. Lim Ji-yeon is so underrated as an actress, I genuinely got a bit teary when she found her she was nothing but a footnote in Korean history (a wholly negative one at that) that even children laughed at. Even her painting was stolen from her and credited to someone else!
This is my fav BL ever I wish I could read the latest volumes. And I think it's the best BL adapatation I've seen. The vibe suits the manga perfectly and the actors have amazing chemistry. So happy to see the manga come to life.
My weird sex show never lets me down. 🥹 I was like oh we are having a caregiving episode, changing it up. And then the caregiving started. "I want you to get it, the virus, and my sperm." Oh it's a (wet) dream. Still funny to see his dream sex life is as messed up as his actual* sex life.
Each episode i'm like "ok now they've reach the peak, it can't get any better" yet each week's new episode proves me wrong... this episode was so good ! A bit of everything (tenderness, empathy, healthy communication, kissing and more, funkily-weirdo scenes). LMSY are both acting amazingly.
The end sure destroyed us, but even the dream and the hug felt so real, Change really nailed HR!
I really enjoy the show outside of the parents I feel like they did a good job showing Si's growth as a character/person even without her stating it.
Love how klao is so understanding of Si's feelings and tries to help her feel better and reassures her.
Si's growing love for the countryside is quite cute too, even for the boy she calls a tapeworm and Jon.
I also really like that they showed her making a business proposal that not only benefits her parents company but the villagers as well. And how being around klao has made it possible for her to believe in herself (maybe a little too much cuz where being a realtor come from 😂).
Despite my issue with the parents, so far this might be the first GL I'll rewatch once it's finished.
Man they put a lot of money into this it's fantastic quality. Great dubs, awesome score, costumes, sets, cinematography and acting all top notch. Theres a big cast and every one plays an important part.
The way Yahnzi looks at Qi is to DIE FOR. The man is completely down bad. What could have been in the original 3 years, looks like Qi should be able to change things this time around. Yahnzi is definitely suspicious of Qi's new interest in palace and war politics, but is quietly trying to figure it out on the side.
The crown prince - good grief he's an awful black black BLACK flag.. but he's already visited the red room with Ziming.. and he was kinda sweet there?
Do I sense a surprise GL couple?!?
There is so much to keep track of but the first 2 eps are AMAZING. The end credit song I need it now, its so good.
I know Friday's are heavy right now but don't sleep on this!! Highly recommend 👌
One thing: I just KNOW Net loves his job… also those last 20 mins 😭😭
I knew something like this was coming because I read the book, but they did change one element about it which I thought was really interesting so now I’m really curious about how they’re gonna play this out now
**10 out of 10 would recommend.** To watch this episode over again.
I am floored. That has to be one of THE BEST NC scenes that I have seen in a BL this year. (*And now that I’m racking my brain, probably one of the best I have watched in a BL ever.*) I have no coherent words to express the way my mouth fell open, and stayed open, at the end of this episode. I was not ready and I was definitely not expecting this show to take it there. Needless to say, I am so glad that they did.
**Hamaguchi is the cutest thing ever.** I love his innocence and how he threw himself into loving Li Wan Zhe. Every time his character comes across my screen I smile. I knew he wasn’t going to let go of those concert tickets.
And I’ll be damned if I didn’t shed some tears when Chen Hao Wei and He Xiang Yong met up on that pier. **This episode really took me through the entire spectrum of emotions.**

This wait for another ep is torture already!!

Also, the yogurt scene? That was sooooo hot. I never knew eating yoghurt will be this much sexy🥵🥵🥵🥵
We went from sexy duel music to adding layer upon layer to the situation... to them yeeting the game right out the window(??)
We already knew Ryo was in love, but does Zen believe him or think this is another seduction tactic???
This is the greatest game ever played.
