Title The Air
I really liked this episode! I watched it in bed, so I didn't do a big stream of consciousness response but a few stand out things from me were how they dedicated some time explaining why she hadn't immediately gone to her dad, and why her and her father seem a bit fraught. I appreciate Freens Action scenes, girl is a lot better then Din was with her fake gun, and Din was leagues ahead of the rest of the folks operating in this space. (Barring Heart Code, obviously, since that's a whole different kettle of fish.)

It's neat watching the subtle growth of Lom and Blew's attraction to each other, which is a stark contrast to how Din and Rose and Nam and Chonlada's attractions developed. Something soft and subtle is nice. It's still early days but Blew reactions leave me suspecting that she's going to be a spitfire once they start creeping into romantic territory. The way she reacted to Din implying they were dating, and even more so her reaction to find out about Lom's many, many suitors. Very scandalous.

Next episode seems fun, I'm quite excited.

I just finished the 6th episode and I can't help but feel like this is one of the best shows i have ever watched period not just as a GL. Also given the way it ended there has to be more episodes coming. Jane and Nano are definitely my favorite couple, Earn and Belle also seem like they can be good for each other. Amy and Sophie on the other hand are definitely not good for each other, also Sophie definitely needs therapy after being raised by her unstable mother. Can't wait to see more of Nalin and Mink. Overally 100/10

I liked this as well it was so so funny. The sticky guy is so good at acting. I feel like he’s underrated cos he doesn’t ever play the male lead, and it’s often ridiculous roles, but he’s so good at playing these roles. His comedic timing is awesome and he’s so gifted at portraying this asshole that you can’t fully hate cos he’s kinda understandable sometimes and more importantly, hilarious. 😂

For me 8.5. I couldn’t see the flaws too much cos I was laughing so hard that my eyes were closed haha

I'll be honest, I didn't have high expectation in the beginning but this series is getting better and better with every episode!

I enjoy chemistry between the actors so much ❤️ I'm glad they look comfortable with each other even during intimate scenes. I'm really eating this up 😅

This is a 10/10 drama for me, alongside We Are All Trying Here. Lee Hee Jun is a FANTASTIC actor. Watch him off camera and he’s a completely different person.

Just finished ep 5 and i’ve been laughing out so loud! My tummy is in knots.
Both the lead characters are funny and believable, which is hard to come by in dramas these days. Also i love the chemistry between the ML and his assistant 🤣

Title Me and Thee
I had such a fun time watching Me and Thee because the show is just SO perfectly extra 😭

Khun Thee especially carries the entire “dramatic rich male lead” energy on his shoulders and I was absolutely living for it. If you enjoy exaggerated characters, over-the-top confessions, dramatic gestures, possessiveness, yearning, and characters acting with 200% intensity at all times…....you are probably gonna love this one too.

I grew up reading an unhealthy amount of Wattpad stories, so maybe I’m naturally weak for these kinds of characters 😭 but what makes Thee even funnier is that he’s completely oblivious to how extra he is. He genuinely acts like he is the normal one and everyone else is being weird, and honestly that makes the character work SO well.

And PondPhuwin are already one of my favourite pairings anyway, so I was smiling through most of the series.

The show knows exactly what kind of energy it wants to have and fully commits to it instead of trying to tone itself down, which I appreciated a lot.

Now I genuinely need more dramas like this 😭 Can y’all please recommend more BLs like this.

This episode was FANTASTIC.

The crown prince continues to be a very good villain when one of his parents isnt around, and a sniveling baby when mom gives him orders. I'm still not clear on the partnership him and Yanzhi have going, but I plan on rewatching the whole thing after the finale anyway.

A Qi and Yanzhi finally get on the same page - the way Yanzhi looks at A Qi is to die for. Their chemistry and love for each other is off the charts, I can't look away.

I wasn't sure if Yanzhi would accompany A Qi to Jiagnan, but I'm glad they're not separated because shit is definitely going to go down with that rumor about the emperor making A Qi the new crown prince.

I am OBSESSED with both the opening & closing tracks, I don't skip the intro and I listen to the entire credit song before I move on 😂

I should not be enjoying this show as much as I do. But here I am. Loving every second of it.

Tai is best friend goals. He has Wayu’s back no matter what. He’s helping his friend not get in trouble and doling out advice left and right. Plus, he’s easy on the eyes. I just love it when a BL has a good friend in the case of characters.

Madam Foei looked amazing in this week’s episode. It was the hair and makeup for me. Just beautiful.

Krit and his jealousy? I’m eating it up. You said I can’t be at the club? Fine. I’ll just get my fake finance to hire customers for you so I can still keep tabs. 🤣 For someone who wants to keep his relationship a secret that sure was a very public kiss at the end sir.

I have a feeling that Wayu in all of his meddlesomeness is going to get himself into trouble in a future episode. He wants to help so bad but I don’t think he has comprehended just how dangerous this case is.

As usual, this was another good episode. I’ll definitely be rewatching it again sometime soon.

Things I think this episode:
They're made for each other. Not an ounce of discretion in either one. I would love it if they were in 2026 and carefree college kids, but in that time, with vipers in house....ugh stupid boys. This comment repeats several times during this watch.

Kaew is so pretty. Wasted on that century.

Poor Jom...that is the face of a man who knows he fucked up. Okay, okay, this is a good apology speech. Sadly though, he doesn't have the answers Kaew needs.

Nakhun.....you've finally caught up with my thoughts on this romantic tragedy. Poor boy.
And Phop is so cute in his attempt to interpret Nakhun's writing. And oh fuck, I just realized Phop is probably gonna learn English and read it after Nakhun is gone.

Nakhun having to entertain Lady Varna. Ooph. But he asks the questions she most deserves. Good boy.
I fear his words to her don't suit her reality though, correct as they ought be. Oh dear...I hope he's inspired her, not engendered a crush. This triangle doesn't need another side.

Well the Lord's house is properly full of vipers. Risking children by giving them to Cherd like that. Shame on them.

That's brave Phop. Stupid, but brave. And you have such a way with words.

Okay, I know the old high lord guy was being an ass, but that's a great idea he suggested.

Ooh....Lady Varna, you're ahead of your time now. I wish you the very best.

Aw, Copper...are you playing a snake? Fifa should spank your character. Unless you're somehow undercover....nah...even then.

I feel like we're closing in on it all coming to a head, but I'm worried we're not going to have enough time in 2026 to do justice to the happy ending we damn well better be getting.

So Lu Feng is..well Lu Feng ⚠️🏴⚠️…✨BUT✨this was me watching him and Yichen this ep being so happy in love

Of course Lu Feng kicked the roommate out with no prior notice, moved himself in, sold most of Yichen’s possessions and replaced them with his own-what did Yichen expect from his devoted obsessed bf? 🤪

I really liked seeing them just being able to be and share the sweet and simple moments together at home without any family butting their heads in and trying to ruin all their happiness. It makes it so hard knowing it won’t always be like this 😭.

I did not feel bad about old father Lu. I did feel so bad for both the Lu siblings-poor older sis by his side wasn’t even spared a glance and ignored, and he used his last breath to once again shame Lu Feng.

The couple Yichen works with are the nosiest pair & I kinda love how they’re both so in sync with it - a couple who plots/spies together stays together lol. Can’t wait for the next ep that we don’t have to wait for yay!

I about died of laughter at the art class fan service. It looks like everyone got caught up in the impromptu BL fanservice🤣 I'm also super glad that Zhan Wang basically told the whole class off for being AH. The teacher looked shock and someone needs to thump her as well. As a teacher, she shouldn't be letting stuff like that keep going on.

Sadly, that was it for laughter, and they got a few tears out of me as Zhan Wang dealt with his grandmother's death. I was thinking that as he gave the grandma's money to Xu Yuan's family, it really didn't matter. He wasn't going to live long enough to use it anyway, and his horrible dad didn't need it.

I'm glad the two of them have become friends and I have no doubt Zhan Wang will be moving in to share the room and not just to be close to memories of his granny.

As for the other pair, they have such a weird dynamic going on. The doc is almost expressionless, and our bad boy is hot-tempered, but I don't feel any romance vibes really pinging off them. I have to wonder why the doc is so interested.

I think it's a little disingenuous to say that people are criticizing this show because it's impossible to have a BL without kissing. Of course a BL can exist without physical expressions of love (see The Untamed and Word of Honor for popular examples where there was forced censorship.)

In my opinion, the very valid criticism of this show is not that the characters aren't showing physical affection for each other in a narratively driven way (for example, if one of the characters was ace or had another reason for not wanting to consumate the relationship--that would be a reason internal to the story.) No. The problem is that these men seem to be in all other ways absolutely leading toward a physical expression of their love and then the show choose not to do that for reasons outside the story. (And this censorship was unforced by the govt, unlike the examples mentioned above.) Whether those reasons include the actors not wanting to kiss onscreen or the producers not wanting to show physical expressions of love between men -- we can only speculate. But--this restraint on the part of the characters does not seem to be driven narratively.

That's the problem. It feels like television in the 1990s. I remember when Jack from Dawson's Creek finally kissed a man on screen in the series finale of that show after being a gay character who didn't kiss anyone for literal years. That was 2003, and I have no desire to go back to those days.

Loved it, 10 outta 10. I'm happy that Lookmhee got to play an unabashedly green flag character for once, and it was very sweet with Song playing matchmaker. Ending was a little rushed, but to be honest I don't mind. I'm happy that it all wrapped up neatly and that we got a good ending, a lot of shows haven't stuck the landing lately and this one will be great to rewatch going forward.

I do hope we get to see Song's story. Girl's struggled this series, and it'd be sweet to show us her own sapphic story. (In the book, Song has a sequel dedicated to her where she ends up with a sugar cane farmer that she was negotiating with for business stuff! It's great. It's called 'Sweet as a Breeze, Deadly as love.'

Other than that I'm quite happy.

Episode 10

This drama is sticking the landing beautifully, heading into the finale week. There are still a few loose ends to tie up (including one that didn't need to be created in the first place, in my opinion), but all things considered, we're coming home strong.

The scene where Matthew and Ye-jin's father kept recommending items to each other at the grocery store was so perfectly executed. Mechoori ("Quail") recommending quail eggs was an essential self-reference. Then, Ye-jin's father's blood pressure rose at the realization that Matthew had described his side dishes as "salty". And finally, a throwback to the ML vs. SML eating contest in Deokpung.

Matthew's silence during the reunion dinner of The USU employees was an ominous foreshadowing of what was to come . His discomfort made me uncomfortable when I was hoping there was nothing to it.

The flashback to (even younger) Som-yi essentially saving Matthew's life following the Good Morning Cream incident, was some tour de force acting. Ahn Se-bin, who plays the present-day Som-yi, is an acclaimed child actress, but the actress who played her in the flashback was equally amazing.

The Soyjoy bars PPL was amusing given what a staple they are here in Japan, not to mention that the face of the product in South Korea is none other than... Chae Won-bin!

Just look at the filmmakers playing matchmakers with all of the supporting characters. Now it's Jin-yi and Ki-hong who are apparently destined to find romance, along with Seong-mi and Gwang-mo, and Ae-ra and Mu-won, though the latter really had to earn his stripes in this episode.

Ok Ja-yeon as Michelle is a little too good in her role, because her death stares scare the hell out of me. Speaking of Michelle, and returning to my first point, alas, Chang-ho could not be trusted , and it's going to create further conflict , as shown in the preview for episode 11.

ShashaGorya fluff is way too strong. Loved everything about how they held each other and bantered this episode. I swear, sometimes this series feels like MuvMuv conversion camp, lol. I didn't come in as a big fan of MilkLove, but I'm definitely leaving as one. Also seriously looking forward to Gorya drop kicking Shasha's mom into next week. Her big thing is that she's generally pissed off and this woman is just giving her an excuse. Please let it be...

I don't know who the actresses are for Ant and her wife, but can we get a series with them? PrimBambi were pretty good in this episode, but it still felt like they got their show stolen from them by their hosts. They're still cute and it was nice to see Prim commit fully to Bambi.. Bambi crashing out next episode has me worried though. She's talking to her therapist so all should be alright, but she did sound like she was maybe suicidal.

I still can't connect with MinPraew. I had high hopes for ViewMim coming into this after Us, but they're still just not quite clicking. The reason might actually be because Mim's head is at almost exactly View's chest height, but she leaned back to look her in the eyes while talking instead of leaning in to her chest and turning her head to speak. Completely broke my suspension of disbelief lol.

More seriously, that hug did feel weirdly tense, I guess? I think my problem is fundamentally that Praew feels high-strung, and I want to feel like she relaxes with her girlfriend, but they just don't quite come across that way. And even in some of their other scenes, I still feel like there's a distance or tension between them.

I love this series so much! Both Wine and Lal are both incredibly relatable in their own ways and I love seeing how they’re totally falling for each other but just don’t know it yet. Like Lal wanting to know what happened with jerk PR guy and their little hand holding under the blanket. So freaking cute. I feel like they’re gonna rip our hearts out at some point but I adore their chemistry and the relationship they’re building.

Also, Ciize is becoming the girl version of that guy that used to pop up in IdolFactory series to mess with the leads…Heng! When she appears in GMMTV series I know there’s gonna be drama lol. But I really hope her and Kapook’s characters get a happy ending for once. They need a win!
