This was really Seo in Guk at his best! He was so good as Moo Young. I loved this even if it wasn’t my favorite…
I will say that K dramas never let their male leads actually be a psychopath lol it’s always “he’s healed through love”. I’ve seen this in so many dramas! *cough* flower of evil & (strangers from hell being a exception which is a masterpiece)! Moo young’s personality change was abrupt and it made the brothers actions seem crazy when in actuality it made sense why he was so prejudiced against him because in the beginning it was clear he had psychopathic tendencies! It was hard for me to digest his sudden personality change & him now having feelings and reacting off emotion and becoming less intelligent/calculative toward the end. Especially, when he was such a smart character in the beginning! That’s why even though I loved this it’s not my fave. The first 8 episode were so good though!
This was really Seo in Guk at his best! He was so good as Moo Young. I loved this even if it wasn’t my favorite toward the end! I’m going to eventually watch the Japanese version. His chemistry with Jung So min was incredible! Does anyone have any recommendations of Male leads similar to his character I like complex male leads lol?
I think I really like the actor that plays Tianqi. I always become more invested in him than the main lead. The same thing happened in love and redemption lol. I’m in episode 15 and my heart is breaking. He can really emote with his eyes! I can’t wait until all his new series come out.
I definitely missed the indie-vibes in today's episode. If that's anything to go by, they'll for sure go down…
I really hope that doesn’t happen lol very boring and not really realistic. I really want her to be alone for sometime for some reason, I think she needs it & that’ll make so much more sense for her character! And maybe at the end hint to her finding love again after she finds herself!
I understand that Jae-on wants to change because of Na-bi, but why? What do you think is different between her…
I think it’s because he likes her. I don’t think he usually has feelings for the girls he’s with. He draws a line like he said but it’s hard to keep a line with her. As we see they end up reconciling, which is probably not normal behavior for him. When things are over he probably usually moves on/doesn’t care but because he likes her he ends up going back. I think that’s what makes her different. & Having the person you like constantly doubting your sincerity because of your reputation doesn’t feel good. That’s my hypothesis for now but I do need to see more background for Jae-on to get a full grasp of his motivations.
I think this drama has really opened my eyes about how stigmatized non traditional relationships are. I still…
Oh and I’m not feeling the guy she’s going to end up with yet lol but maybe it’s not supposed to be the same electrifying chemistry as with Jae-on more steady & comfortable. And I don’t think they’re going to change the ending of the webtoon in that she ends with someone different but maybe that she ends up with herself! Also, I really don’t think he’s dating seol-ah.
I think this drama has really opened my eyes about how stigmatized non traditional relationships are. I still don’t see Jae-on as a bad person especially after this episode. If two consenting adults agree to have a relationship with no strings attached I don’t see any problem with that. Especially if no one is lying about their intentions or actions. The reactions to him at his school and on here are the same. I felt really bad for him this episode , hearing people talk about you that way and assume things about you without ever asking or giving you the benefit of doubt must hurt him. Especially, as were being shown that things may not be as they seem with him. Also, I think him wanting to change is because of Nabi because he’s starting to have feelings for her. Him changing his hair because she told him to was kind of symbolic. However, changing yourself for someone never ends up lasting. He has to genuinely want to change himself. I think I liked this episode less though because Nabi and Jae-on were separated lol there chemistry carries the show a lot it seems. Also, I got less indie vibes from this episode it felt very traditional Kdrama which is fine but just a different vibe from previous episodes.
This is so good!! The production wow! Also, from reading the comments I thought Da-on was going to be some creepy psychopath lol. I kept waiting for him to creep me out but it never happened? So now I’m just confused with comments on here. I know most people find overly positive/nice people annoying but creepy? Idk that’s seems a bit much in my opinion. Honestly I just wanted to give him a hug because I think he needs one people pleasing on that scale is exhausting lol. I think his relationship with TK will help him grow! We admire in others what we want ourself. He admires TK’s honesty because he cannot be honest himself. I really like characters like his he has some depth. Also, its pretty apparent why he acts that way i.e. his relationship with his parents! I’m loving TK’s character as well like he’s super quirky and I’m loving it! Also. Shin woo and TK are super cute already lol and I can see the chemistry! I think DaOn likes TK but him not being able to say no to people is going to end up being a deal breaker. Having boundaries is very important for a relationship and I personally wouldn’t want a boyfriend like that lol. I still love Da-on though I’m a bit of a people pleaser myself so I totally relate to him especially the parents thing! Also, the girl is super annoying lol but what’s new in BL’s.

I don't see this as a drama about a f*boi and his side piece. I also don't see it as a drama about a toxic relationship.…
Wow i agree so much! Finally someone with a mature perspective lol. People are rarely black and white simply labeling people as "toxic" or " f boys" is reductive its usually much more than that. And toxic is subjective, Jae Eon has been honest thus far about his views on relationships its up to Na bi to decide if she's willing to accept him. All relationships are an opportunity to learn about ourselves so i agree this relationship will be an important lesson for Na bi. And i honestly relate so much lol. And yes Song Kang is doing really well expressing Jae Eon's micro expressions, I'm not seeing any problems with his acting honeslty.
This is probably the most realistic show I have seen in a while. At least she is going into the "relationship"…
Yes, i agree! Although I love unrealistic dramas it’s nice to watch something I can relate to every once and awhile. And yes it’s really refreshing how she’s aware I feel like most people lie to themselves about guys like that but she’s not and still taking the plunge! But this one episode a week schedule is killing me lol! I can’t wait!
I’m loving this so much right now!! It’s so relatable and I really like the indie vibe! Really taking me back to my college days lol. Also Im usually not interested in side characters but in this drama they’re pretty interesting! This might become one of my favorites!
Such a beautiful film. The insight it gives on people suffering from both mental illness and trauma was truly heart warming. Absolutely loved this! I will write a review soon because this movie deserves it!
This was really good! Both very morally grey characters if se joon is a monster Yoon Jae is not far from that. In the end Se Joon is the one that is serving time for his crimes though and Yoon Jae due to his father was able to get off completely. I will say Se Joon definitely had sociopathic tendencies but wasn't necessarily a murderer. And yoon jae was such an interesting character like I'm still trying to pinpoint what was going on with him. He lied so much I don't know if he knows what the truth is and him participating in the crimes even though he could've said no or told se joon who would've got him out of it really makes his character weird to me. Theres alot i could say because he had some serious issues though. Their relationship was already toxic from the beginning but communication could've saved a lot. I do think se joon loved him albeit in a very unhealthy possessive way, and that was only exacerbated when Yoon Jae continued to repeatedly lie to him plus show interest in the girl. I also think Yoon Jae had an inkling that Se Joon liked him in a romantic way because why hide his relationship and the gift etc. What was his motivation for that? I didn't really know if Yoon Jae reciprocated his feelings until the end and I would say yes. The fact that he even visited him and was asking him how he was and he genuinely looked affected about his present state said alot. I wonder if he even genuinely liked Eun Young? I'm leaning towards a little bit but im not sure. We really can't trust what he says though lol. In the end Communication is key he only got the courage to ask him about his feelings when it was too late. Maybe he'll visit again lol but I hope Se Joon moves on.
Oh and the end scene gave me chills where he's at a new school can't help but feel like he's the problem lol The acting was really good but Choi Tae Joon wow I need him to do some more movies he has talent. I could feel everything from him.
