I recently watched 'Qing Ya Ji' and it had a scene where the mc literally invited tons of MALE prostitutes and the ml called him 'shameless' for it lol, they didn't even try bare minimum to hide it yet it managed to pass the chinese censorship (even though they're usually stricter when it comes to movies than dramas because movies have more audience) so I believe they're getting a lot less stricter lately. Maybe, sooner or later, they'll even remove the ban.

If someone's freedom makes you uncomfortable, then that's your problem and you need to fix that.
