This rumour is spreading like a fire in a forest on weibo yet the production team, who recently warned people spreading fake rumours and posting leaks, didn't deny it. Check out their weibo post's comment section, there's not even a single user who isn't talking about it so there's no way they aren't aware of this rumour. 4. Same, I usually don't like to argue but I'll legit start a war with anyone who decided to insult 2ha or Meatbun. There's indeed some uncomfortable stuff in the original novel but just because it's 'uncomfortable' doesn't mean it was romantised or taken lightly. Mo Ran's actions were SUPPOSED to be uncomfortable and unlikeable in the first place. Meatbun is one of those rare authors who doesn't idolise her characters, she write them like human beings - imperfect, bare and broken.
I'm SO ready for hyx but not for future hyx 'fans' who'll check out 2ha and only try reading a few chapters just to deem it problematic and later dedicate their whole lives to "hyx > 2ha"... or those who'll claim Ranwan are just bros at every occasion possible as if they were sponsored by the Chinese censorship to say all that. Just enjoy the drama and stop worrying about unnecessary stuff, I doubt anyone cares about ratings anyways because of all the hype BE is getting ever since it started airing.
