I'm confused whether I should now add this to my completed list or on-hold or dropped, the story itself is incomplete so it just feels weird to say that I completed this drama lol.
What do you mean by low ratings? Mother actually has a good, balanced rating. It is the other films that have…
I don't actually care about the ratings, but the reason (which you can easily see in the reviews) many people are deducting them for is silly. It's supposed to be dark, you can't just watch a horror movie and then complain it was scary lol.
Because it's a bl? If not the main characters, then who'll be gay? The trees in their backyard?... I honestly…
Nah girl they ARE, I've no idea what bl series you're even watching because 'bl' literally stands for 'boys love'... As for demisexuality, I'm more than aware of it because I'm a part of the lgbtq community myself (closeted bi here) but someone can be demi and also straight or gay or anything, demisexul means being attracted to someone only after you're emotionally invested in them. And Homoerotic - don't even get me started on that shit. It's just sexual. There's no way the characters are 'Homoerotic' because it's more of a kink than a identity. Get your face out of Fanfics and read about actual lgbtq people. What are you even doing on a bl drama if you don't like gay relationships anyways? There's more than enough straight dramas out there, feel free to watch them since someone being anything but straight bothers you so much.
I know some people disliked the Amnesia trope in ep 16 but I personally think it was pretty important, because many people might assume that he didn't actually 'love' his family and was just too used to pretending to be Baek Hee Sung all this time. So it showed that even if he didn't have any memories and got a chance to live an another life, he would still go back to them because he genuinely cares about his family.
Ryu Hosun (#KangInsoo) and Choi Hwajin are set to have arranged marriage. But the bride ran way and his brother,…
Because it's a bl? If not the main characters, then who'll be gay? The trees in their backyard?... I honestly don't get your question, idk if it was your intention but it kind of sounds like you dislike that we're calling the characters gay lmao.
It's kind of weird how the spirits possess people through bitting or scratching them (like what happened to the pink lil prince) are they supposed to be zombies? Or do they enter people's bodies through their blood vessels? I'm confused. (•᷄ɞ•᷅)
Ikr! It's so perfect that Mo Ran can literally plant a lil peck on Chu Wanning's forehead anytime lol.
I honestly want to see that sword scene pass the censorship so much because I NEED dishevelled gay panicking Chu Wanning running into a tree in my life. As for a kiss, I don't think we'll be able to get it :( but I really hope we'll at least get the cheek peck that happened after the sword scene.
But high budget drama usually have popular actors in it like immortality's protagonist.
I did? You was the one who kept replying lol. Also, I couldn't care less about whoever plays XL and HC since I'm more excited for other upcoming dramas (like Haoyixing, A League of Nobleman, Winner is King etc etc) so it's not that I 'want' it. I just find it unreasonable when they're being judged on purely for their looks or popularity rather than their acting, which is like the only thing that matters. Anyways, bye and have a good day. It was nice talking with you.
EPISODE 11 EXPLAINED:so here's what happened in the last (unsubbed) episode: After Tang Xin 'fell' from the ladders,…
Please put a spoiler on your comment, It can ruin the episode for those who haven't watched it yet. But thanks for the explanation! Your English is actually great.

You've watched his drama twice yet don't trust his acting abilities much just because he's not popular enough? So you're really judging him for anything but his acting itself?.... I guess it's time to end our discussion then. Btw I doubt you need to worry about whether this adaption would get criticised or loved by others because of the cast, that's the director and production team's job. They know what they're doing.

Wait, what's so harsh about my comment? I didn't disrespect your opinion in any way. I just shared mine and I think that's how discussions are supposed to work. Also, telling that you didn't see their works—is a fact, what makes it 'harsh'? You can check my watchlist too and feel free to call me out if you ever saw me criticise an actor whose works I've never seen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And well, I never said Chen Feiyu is a completely unknown actor but Neo Huo and Cheng Ding Xin aren't either, Ding Cheng Xin used to be a popular idol and then got tons of fans from participating in an acting show and Neo Huo recently got lots of recognition for his role in 'A Girl Like Me'. It just depends on whether you keep up with them or not. But it doesn't change the fact that neither Chen Feiyu nor them are popular actors who you don't have to specifically search for to know about them like Luo Yunxi is, but Chen Feiyu/Mo Ran is the protagonist of Immortality and you said "But high budget drama usually have popular actors in it like immortality's PROTAGONIST." in your original comment so I mentioned him.

Chen Feiyu was never a popular actor lmao. I've been a huge fan of him ever since he played Ning Que in 'Ever Night' and he's one of my most favourite actors but I've to admit that it was his only drama to get some recognition and even in it, he got criticised again and again by the chinese fans for being 'poker-faced' and not experienced enough. They actually preferred Dylan Wang over him, it was just international fans who liked Cfy's ver of Ning Que. Meanwhile, his 'Legend of Awakening' was disliked by both chinese and international fans. So yeah, he IS a newbie actor too, yet we all can agree that nobody else beside him should be Mo Ran. Stop being so biased for a second and take a look at your own examples, Wang Yibo, Xiao Zhan and now Chen Feiyu—you're using them as examples for something they're not, to prove something they actually were (aka inexperienced actors) to be wrong... You don't have to like the rumored cast, we can't force it and that's alright, but at least give them a chance to prove their potential instead of dismissing them already just for being newbie actors. Not to mention, you haven't even seen any of their works judging by your watchlist.
Anyone else wishes he would get to play a villain role in a historical drama in the future? Like you know, the sassy fashionista and pretty-but-deadly kind, who unreasonably takes out his anger on the poor fruits in his hands by squeezing their literal soul out of them whenever he hears a bad news? And then like choke or stab whoever tf told him the bad news? Because I do, I need that Xiao Zhan in my life.
