I'm wondering that too. Maybe they'll still keep his brothel addiction but make Rong Jiu a girl? Because Rong Jiu does play a part in the story. Without him, Mo Ran wouldn't steal and then get whipped by Tianwen - which is how the author introduced Chu Wanning and his past life in Sisheng Peak at first. He also appears later in the underworld arc. The screenwriter said she'll stay true to the novel so I doubt she'll change any of that.

Yeah maybe hyx was just a well crafted social experiment conducted by NASA to test out how humanity deals with constantly trusting rumours and then being disappointed.

Alright so I was re-reading the novel yet again and noticed that everything Mo Ran 1.0 does is the least family friendly stuff possible. How are they going to censor all that LMFAO he literally woke up in a gay brothel on his first day, what'll hyx do? Lay him on a field of rice? And Rong Jiu's going to end up as a brotherhood-thirsty farmer rather than a gay prostitute? XD

(Ps: I know they might make it a straight brothel but it's still funny as heck, I can literally imagine the screenwriter wiping the sweat on her forehead while desperately trying to make it pass the censorship).

Hold his waist, Shizun is literally just standing there? Hold his waist. If there's no intense waist holding, there's no hyx.

Who cares about his love when he doesn't even treat her nicely or respect her boundaries and decisions? Did he fall for the person or wanted a doll to play with? Good intentions doesn't excuse crappy behavior, and even though she's married to him, it doesn't mean she has to love him back. That's some cliché thinking. But I understand that you've a different perspective, so let's just agree to disagree with each other and move on. I don't want to argue.
