Damn I just found out that Noble Consort Gao was actually supposed to be the person who saved Yinglou's sister after she was raped in the palace, because she was fond of her embroidery work and loved how she made her opera costumes (which explains why she was so heartbroken when they were burnt), but this part was sadly edited out of the drama for some reason :(

I didn't actually dislike the music, I was just too immersed into the story and couldn't focus on it back then so I gave it a 5 because that's the average rating for me. Maybe, I'll change it one day after rewatching! ^^

I feel the same way. Nanno was obviously yearning for freedom and wanted to live like a normal person in the prequel after she met that thief guy (sorry I forgot his name lol) and fell in love with him, so this is probably a part of her plan. Yuri thinks she outsmarted Nanno but she has no idea that she's actually serving herself on a silver platter.

Honestly, I don't like her too. Nanno is not an angel either but her actions have a meaning behind them. Meanwhile, Yuri is just insecure, petty and always projecting onto others. She believes all humans are inherently bad so she could deceive herself into thinking that she's not evil, she's just humane; I bet she actually has no interest in taking 'revenge' or anything, she's only collecting people like herself to feel less lonely. Compared to Nanno, She's also too easy to read which makes her character really mundane tbh.

Damn ep 5 must've been so uncomfortable for the actor.

The last episode was like 70% flashbacks and 30% main characters spacing out.
