I decided to try the first episode after seeing all the hype surrounding it's sequel and damn... You're telling me that this drama ACTUALLY has a storyline and characters who feel like human beings instead of entities whose whole life only revolves around their sexuality and often suffer from urges to treat their partner like absolute shit for the sake of fanservice? That's a rare occurrence in bls. This drama is legit like an extremely rare pokemon in a world full of bulbasaurs (btw talking about bulbasaurs, I despise them with a burning passion - they look like toads with a opium on their backs, what's so cute about that?).

Edit: Completed it in just one day, even though I tried to hold myself back A LOT because I felt like I wouldn't be appreciating this drama enough if I didn't stare at a single shot for at least 3 hours lol. Anyways, this drama is the definition of beautiful. Everyone's acting was like they've literally became their character, the cinematography didn't disappoint and all the dialogues were like poetry to my ears. This drama could've gotten all the attention in the world and I'd still feel it's underrated.

I bet some are already onto combining leaks to piece out the whole drama. I mean, in all honesty - this fandom seem desperate enough to do so.

Ok but can we just talk about both the prequel and sequel's title though? I swear 'I told the sunset about you' & 'I promised you the moon' are one of the prettiest titles I've ever came across! I love how they carry a hint of innocence and nostalgia while being completely simple. I wish more bls were named thoughtfully like this instead of 'what the duck' (I believe the dude who came up with is the type to laugh hysterically at his own jokes) and stuff...

Honestly, this is the longest I've ever survived off a drama's bts crumbs. Hyx really needs to come home or else we might just watch the whole drama through the leaks at this point.

I've honestly seen some straight dramas with even worse concepts like I Love My President Though He's A Psycho, Homeroom and Kono Otoko wa Jinsei Saidai no Ayamachidesu but none of them faced any problems from being discussed in articles. This mdl rule reminds me of how some parents in close minded societies would avoid their kids from encountering anything lgbtq related, as if lgbtq individuals are registered sex offenders or 'bad influence' on kids. I'm actually speaking from experience because in Japan (where I live), that's how gay people are sometimes treated. So I can't help getting pissed beyond words with this unreasonable rule.

Nah, that's just c-fans exaggerating and lying to fool international fans into thinking that their beloved drama is actually receiving hate in it's native country and might flop. They take screenshots after seeing naive fans fall for it and laugh at them in private chats, I know because I'm a part of one but I'm only there for hyx related updates and don't really participate in anything. Being upset and discouraged is exactly how they want you to feel, So you shouldn't believe these rumours in the future to avoid bringing them any kind of satisfaction.

There was never truly a reincarnation in the novel though. Reincarnation means rebirthing into a new body, but Chu Wanning's souls just went back to his old body and as for Mo Ran, it's all about parallel universes and soul-fusing so I doubt that'll change as it doesn't actually break any rules.

I'm glad someone's finally talking about this since it really does deserve more attention and needs to be changed. This topic has actually been discussed a few times before but was always shut down by the excuses that bls are generally much more sexual in nature compared to straight dramas, which is just pure bs imo, thus people rarely brought attention to it afterwards for the fear that they might receive more snarky responses than support. It's truly saddening.
