I feel like the murders are somehow related to Munju's redevelopment because why else would the murderer wait for 20 years just to kill someone again? Especially since he/she was so good at hiding bodies that they couldn't find Dong-sik's sister's body even after 20 years. The killer probably committed a lot of murders during those 20 years but buried all the bodies where the redevelopment might take place so to keep them hidden forever—he/she purposely left the victim's fingers to ruin the town's reputation and delay/cancel the redevelopment. I also think the Church Dong-sik's sister used to play piano at might have something to do with it.

Mo Ran never had a rebirth though. Taxian Jun's memories, human and earth soul were just transmitted into him by Chu Wanning and Taxian Jun only had his cognitive soul left in the end as this part/soul of his was too obsessed with CW to let go of him even after dying and didn't wanted to merge with Mo Ran 1.0 earlier because of envy so Mo Ran 1.0 was never a rebirth of Txj, he just carried 2/3 of his souls. But If you're talking about the time Mo Ran died after tianyin punishment then it's still not really considered a 'rebirth' since his soul went back to the same body, just like what happened to Chu Wanning in the past after he died from repairing the barrier and saving Mo Ran—which plays a major part in the story so it probably wasn't deleted or changed. The rebirth China banned was the kind where the character is reborn into an another body. Hence, I don't see a reason why they would end the drama at his death. I'm sure we'll get a happy ending ^^

Wen Kexing is so gayforward. I love it.

It was equal parts emotional and funny, inspiring but not didactic, uplifting but not fanciful. I loved how real and relatable all the characters were. They all failed, at least once in their lives, but their mistakes didn't make them strive for perfection, it only motivated them to be the best version of themselves. Almost everyone was older than me yet I felt like such a proud parent to see their growth lol.

According to Chen Feiyu’s recent weibo update, He's back in Beijing—Which means hyx's shooting, dubbing and everything else is 100% done. And Otters Studio (the studio who owns publishing rights of 2ha and is also one of the producers of hyx) posted on weibo that they'll take legal action against the staff and stalker fans if they continued to leak stuff so basically, they're being extra careful NOW even though the leaks have been going around ever since hyx started shooting. All in all, I get a feeling that this drama is going to air either in March or April. Yeah we didn't even get the trailer or a teaser yet, but the theory that they might release the trailer on the same day as when they're planning to drop the episodes doesn't seem much far-fetched anymore thanks to Faraway Wanderers (jk no thanks, I don't appreciate their mf surprise).
So fellow 2haists, let's prepare ourselves in advance... We'll HAVE to survive until the day we get to see ranwan shamelessly flirting with each other on the screen, & our last words shall only be "How in the world did this scene even pass the chinese censorship" before we faint/have a mental breakdown/get a heart-attack/literally pass away (just do whatever you like, I understand) only then can we finally rest in peace.

Damn I just noticed that Tian Ya Ke/Faraway Wanderers dropped the trailer only A FEW HOURS before they released the episodes (and The Untamed also had done this before) so now I've several questions...
1. Will we not get the trailer this month and have to wait until the hyx team suddenly feel like giving us a heart attack by releasing the episodes?
2. Will we get the trailer this month BUT hyx will also start airing this month?
3. Just where can I buy myself a comfortable and affordable coffin to lie down in if one of my two theories really did come true? Because I don't want to burden my parents, just the thought of the doctor who presumed me dead telling them the cause was "Your girl used to read too much danmei, Constantly fangirled over two actors and One day saw that her most anticipated drama of 2021 suddenly dropped the trailer/episodes, so her heart finally couldn't take it anymore." wouldn't let me rest even in the netherworld.

It's a pity they had to change a character's gender to pass the censorship but honestly, I'm not really that mad about it because Chen Yao is a pretty good actress and Shimei's role does suit her. It's at least better than some bad newbie actress playing sm... Actually, before hyx's cast got confirmed, I've heard some rumours that they were going to cast a Cpop idol or something (who has NEVER once acted in her whole life) to play Shimei and it killed me a bit from the inside lol. I'm glad those rumours were false and Chen yao got casted, just hope she doesn't get any hate from petty 'fans' in the future :/ because the gender change or chinese censorship isn't her fault, she's just an actress doing her best to bring out the character to life and she also gets well along with rest of the cast.
