The trailer was kind of a mindfuck in general (but in a good way), I remember that one of the most popular theories after the trailer came out was that this drama heavily plays with the whole illusion and reality concept, and the main characters are trapped in some dream. But now, after watching the drama, it doesn't really seem to be the case.

I'll be honest, I don't remember his name, all I know is that he seems to be the one who revealed the information about a spy in their team to Zhuo Yichen and said he did it to protect Bai Jiu, because he didn't want Bai Jiu to go with them. If he was the one harming them, then it makes sense why he wouldn't want Bai Jiu to be there. And wasn't Bai Jiu's mother killed by a tree demon? The tree demon might've been Li Lun.
