Kind of random but I love this drama's titles. Forget the original one, which is pretty as hell already, even Fangs of Fortune and The Story of Mystics are bangers. I'm glad it's something that is not only beautiful but also stands out rather than typical cdrama English titles that are just different versions of — Love [insert thing], The Legend of [insert thing], or something as abhorrent and utterly shameful as 'Long for Fish' because the one in charge of picking up that English title definitely showed up drunk on his duty.

Since it's Guo Jingming we're talking about here, we won't get a sad ending or a happy ending, we'll get a cliffhanger and a hint towards much-needed season 2 that he isn't going to drop anytime soon *begrudgingly glances at MJTY*

This drama was softer than a cat's fur that just got washed, dried and brushed. I swear watching it literally felt like plopping my face on a fluffy pillow after an exhausting day. Just cute and refreshing. I need more gls like this.

Makes me glad that Yan An actually chose to be an actor afterwards. They were keeping this man's acting talent in a dungeon and he got even less screen time than those fake office plants in the background, now he's strutting around in intricate robes and doing justice to his roles in cdramas. His career as an idol was surely admirable, but it's his acting career that's finally going to get him the attention he deserves because, just like singing, he does genuinely seem to enjoy acting.

Guess Li Lun broke that rule too lmao. He's the type of villain who is hard to hate.
