Just realised that Bai Jiu's actor also played the younger version of Chu Wanning. This one small and random similarity between these two characters is cracking me up.
I have already contacted a lawyer about this matter.Meanhwile, I only saw a preview for ep. 20. Does that mean…
One episode? I hope not. I won't be able to survive that. We already waited for two days without any episodes, now we deserve at least 10 for our patience.
I find it unfair that we'll have to wait until tomorrow for tomorrow's episodes. Why can't they release tomorrow's episodes today? Ridiculous. This is a crime against the whole humanity and demon-kind alike.
Indeed lmao. Now all I can imagine is the staff member who was in charge of sending the script to the censorship board, suddenly running up to GJM and telling him "Sir, he's too gay! Do something!!"
I replayed those scenes and damn, she really does. Seems like she could actually be his supposed love interest then, although I'll find it hard to buy the straight romance between her and Li Lun because this man is the saltiest antag(ay)onist I've ever come across in my life. They could literally have a kissing scene and I'll still be like "Li Lun, sweetie, the closet is glass. Go back to your husband." 💀
It was already obvious that he isn't a human, but the amount of times Bai Jiu tried to guilt trip Yichen did make me suspicious about his loyalty on top of all that. However, I thought his plan was to steal all the sunflower seeds in the demon-hunting bureau because this kid is a hamster. I expected him to be found nibbling on those seeds instead of poisoning a man.
She might be there for the censorship though, but she also seemed a bit like a tree demon (due to her styling) or something similar to it so I wonder if she is his sister/related to him.
It was a stupid move from WX, considering what she needed to repair the Baize token. As the Baize Goddess who…
Yeah, she was impulsive in that scene. She chose to sprinkle salt on his wounds even if it means she'll get fired from the restaurant. She should try to see the big picture. Even if he planned on doing what he did anyways, she could've brought some time or at least would've saved herself from being injured and tortured by making that unhinged guy angry.
I also think it might be an imposter. Otherwise, it's kind of corny if that's her actual plan for such a serious situation 💀 well, at least goth Wen Xiao looks hot though.
Everytime Duanwu and Shrimp are having a cute interaction and making promises to each other about how they'll work together in the future, I get a feeling that the kid's going to die. This happens a lot in cdramas. If they're trying to make you get attached to a character and their bond with the mc, then that fucker's destined for a sudden death that'll get you wailing in your room at 4am.
