It was already obvious that he isn't a human, but the amount of times Bai Jiu tried to guilt trip Yichen did make me suspicious about his loyalty on top of all that. However, I thought his plan was to steal all the sunflower seeds in the demon-hunting bureau because this kid is a hamster. I expected him to be found nibbling on those seeds instead of poisoning a man.

Yeah, she was impulsive in that scene. She chose to sprinkle salt on his wounds even if it means she'll get fired from the restaurant. She should try to see the big picture. Even if he planned on doing what he did anyways, she could've brought some time or at least would've saved herself from being injured and tortured by making that unhinged guy angry.

Everytime Duanwu and Shrimp are having a cute interaction and making promises to each other about how they'll work together in the future, I get a feeling that the kid's going to die. This happens a lot in cdramas. If they're trying to make you get attached to a character and their bond with the mc, then that fucker's destined for a sudden death that'll get you wailing in your room at 4am.

Even douban doesn't trust douban ratings. These people have rating bombed many dramas because they didn't find the fl pretty enough. I've seen kindergarteners more reliable. I'd rather ask a 5yo if a drama is worth watching than a mouth-breather douban reviewer.
