The actions scenes here really take me back to the time when I was a kid obsessed with martial art movies and would fight imaginary enemies because they would just activate a part of my brain that goes 'I want to fight like that and look as cool as them'. I'm THAT invested in the fighting choreography of this drama. I love it so much.
There's a lot of stuff I liked here, but my most favourite thing about this drama has to be the beautiful sets. Whenever there's sets in dramas that look obviously fake and flimsy, it takes me out of the world building. But here, they're quite intricate and you can tell that many of them are actual places, so it keeps the immersion alive.
I just want to step into this drama at times, although if I did, I'll probably get killed by a random passerby within the first minute for being a clueless idiot who keeps staring at the noodle restaurant like I just saw heaven on earth.
Aww he's doing such a great job in Fangs of Fortune and since his character plays a pretty major role, I hope it means he'll get even bigger roles in the future :D
Bai Jiu (that kid doctor) is so funny he legit squeals like a mouse whenever he's scared lmao. I hope nothing bad happens to him in the drama, he really reminds me of my lil brother.
Lowkey sad that Wang Duo is just a guest role. He's absolutely breathtaking in costume dramas and GJM knows how to shoot him well, as he had already done so in his previous movie, hence I was looking forward to seeing him more.
The way this drama has both bromance and sismance like... Guo jingming, you know what you're doing and I would like you to continue doing it. I absolutely loved the sismance in MJTY too.
Natural long hair, sharp facial features, great acting skills and this man still hasn't gotten a main role? Insanity. Sheer insanity. I will not tolerate this behaviour towards such a gorgeous guy. The entire world is missing out.
Give this man more morally grey and unhinged mls to play. He looks the best when he's one minor inconvenience away from murdering someone in a drama. His vengeful gaze and bitter smile in the first few episodes of Kill Me Love Me really got me feeling some type of way.
2024 is her year for sure. I absolutely love this woman and her choice of scripts. First it was The Double and now it's Kill Me Love Me, Yanjie is singlehandedly rescuing me from the abyss of drama-slumps.
I just started watching and damn, the first episode was freaky (and I'm not complaining, obviously). The fact that the ml always takes a bath with all these weapons is so funny to me. Just the bow was enough, tf was that whip even needed for? 💀 This man doesn't fear any assassins, the assassins fear him. Imagine trying to kill him and he just pulls out ancient bdsm techniques to deal with you.

How is he real? HOW IS HE REAL? This man is way too ethereal. It's like some artist carved a jade statue and it came to life, then decided to act in dramas.
I wish I could watch it for the first time again. It was such a journey, I just wanted to break through the screen and step into this world during some of the scenes.
Guo Jingming, I'm currently outside your house kowtowing in rain while looking pathetic and weak, there's melancholic copyright-free music playing in the background, I keep getting sicker and sicker the more I stay under the rain, I cough once in a while just to add more to the vibes. If that doesn't hurt your conscience enough to give us the season two of My Journey to You, I don't know what will.
One glance at 'mysterious assassin organization' and I already know this is the kind of drama I'll die to watch. Assassin cdramas are my reason to live.
