So, this is a bit random but I watched this yesterday and had that Mr. Piss teacher show up in one of my dreams tonight. When I first saw him in the movie, I lightly mumbled to myself 'damn he's nightmare material' and seems like this fucker took it personally. I know he's just a character but fuck him. I couldn't even go back to sleep after abruptly waking up and I'll never forgive him for this.
Honestly, while watching it, I was slightly weirded out by the cheerful piano music playing during the sad scenes. But now I get the point. It was meant to contrast like that. It sticks out and then it sticks inside your mind. Not only are those scenes more memorable because of this, it also matches with the naive outlook of the main characters as if we're seeing it through their pov.
This movie fucked my emotional state in ways I didn't expect and that's coming from someone who already prepared for it. Both the storyline and the execution exceeded my expectations. I came for a heartbreaking movie, I left with a crushed soul.
Also, I miss the cameras used during the late 90s and early 2000s (mainly in Japanese, Chinese and Hong Kong cinema), movies from back then hit different and the characters don't feel overly-polished, they feel like some people next door making a homemade video... just weirdly personal in a way I guess? I'm bad at describing.
Well, they don't really interest me at the moment. I did and still do look forward to what more she has to offer on the screen because she's a great actress, but it doesn't mean I would force myself to watch something just because she's in it. It's not that my adoration towards her acting skills isn't genuine, I've just never been into watching dramas solely for the sake of the actors.
Edit: Her new drama 'The Best Day of My Life' is currently airing and it caught my eye so, well, I'm finally watching her again lmao.
Omg they look so cute together in their photos and photoshoots! I can already see the chemistry. It's also one of those rare times when Feiyu's acting with someone younger lol (although I know there's only 1 year age difference), I'm soooo looking forward to this drama because I'll finally be able to get over Lighter & Princess 😌
Who the hell smacked their face onto their keyboard and went 'ah yes, this should be our drama's english title' because I swear that guy needs to be exiled.
Same. I get liking the actress and her screen presence because she was amazing, but the character itself was unbearable.…
Aw thanks, she's basically every lesbian's dream gf lol. May you find a lonely life partner too (or if you already have them by your side, then may you both have a beautiful life together)

Ngl, so did I 👀 She was one of my favourite characters and I kept rooting for her throughout the drama. Doesn't help that the actress is drop dead gorgeous.
She has one of the prettiest smile I've ever seen in my life and that's saying a lot because I constantly overdose on works with pretty actresses. I hope she starts acting in new dramas, I miss her :(
He obviously rules the historical dramas but ngl, I need him in a gothic drama with mystery elements, bromance, and some slightly spooky shit. Like just IMAGINE him in elegant suits, slightly longer hair, wearing a monocle or glasses while using steampunk objects to investigate some mf's sudden disappearance under mysterious circumstances, I would literally faint. I know it's a concept he hasn't tried before but I hope so fucking much that someone hands him a script for it, I just know he'll do his role justice.

Lmao that's wild because she was doing more than just asserting dominance, girl used an actual war torture method on people 💀 but well, it's none of my business if men are into that. You do you. I just expressed why I disliked her. I also didn't know it was mostly straight men who liked her, since I saw plenty of women liking her too.
