I have a silly question, in episode 4 the maid (that princess from that fallen kingdom) must dry the books in…
It's usually done to prevent molding, make the papers last longer, and to avoid the ink from melting and sticking the pages together (but this one's done if the air isn't too hot and there's no strong sunshine, otherwise the ink will only melt faster). Also, depending on the type of bark used to make the papers, it can smell pretty bad too (especially if it's a bamboo paper).
Besides the MC and Pushe, Old Huang has to be my favourite character so far! Every scene he's in becomes a thousand times better because of his quirky and fun personality, and the actor playing him really brings this character to life with his amazing acting skills, it's as if he's not just playing him but has become the character himself.
I just hope nothing ever happens to him because, in almost all of the dramas I've watched and the novels I've read, the most likable side character tend to get killed off later either to become a stepping stone for the MC's development or to make the viewers/readers sad for some reason. I don't want this absolute joy of a man to be gone.
It's so enjoyable!! I know my comment is helping no one by stating the obvious but I'm reaffirming it is indeed THAT enjoyable. The fighting choreography and a few mistakes here and there doesn't make it unwatchable or anything. The ending ost is also great and the main characters are likable.
They did? I only see 6 episodes released on WeTV/Tencent (USA). It also looks like they cut down from orig intended…
There's indeed 6 episodes out so far. I was only wondering because I didn't see the airing timer/countdown that usually appears on airing dramas on mdl, that's why I even added a question mark at there.
Finding out that we can see Higuma again has been life changing for me. My grades have improved, my depression is gone, my skin is clear, and I've finally found the purpose of my life. The world doesn't deserve Higuma, but Higuma deserves the whole world.
I wasn't expecting him to have a page on mdl to begin with, but I wasn't expecting the comment section to be completely empty even more so. Thought it was going to be full of users surprised about how he's a (one of the known) male danmei writer. XD
I'm honestly fine with the cast, in fact I like it although I haven't seen any of their works before. Park jaechan looks pretty cute and you can already tell he suits his role by his mdl page's cover image alone. As for Park Seoham, dude's fucking tall and has a well-proportioned body but his image on here doesn't do him any justice: ↝https://i.postimg.cc/Z5kX0ZNR/daddylonglegs1.jpg ↝https://i.postimg.cc/3xgVv6jZ/daddylonglegs2.jpg (please pardon the url names...)
