Call me unhinged or whatever but I'm waiting for her to get actually kidnapped again for the thriller and melodrama's sake lmao. Feels like it might happen in the upcoming episodes though, which would be a relief because I found those moments to be more hard hitting and intense than her playing with the phone (although that was funny, but not what I was originally looking for)
I swear this man is the epitome of elegance. Whenever I see him acting, dancing, singing, literally breathing — all I can think about is how naturally graceful his mannerisms are, it's like he's a swan who was turned into a human being through magic. Yet, his elegance doesn't limit him to just kind roles, he can play an unhinged man such as Tantai Jin too lmao.
Honestly, if the movie Black Swan ever got a gender-swapped chinese adaptation, I feel like only Xixi can do justice to that role. Especially during the ending sequence when the mc plays both white and black swan, the blend and shift from soft to sharp, loving to harsh, is something a versatile actor like him excels at.

However, they didn't add eng subs yet. But the Japanese is quite simple and the characters used modern terms so if you're a beginner learner, then this drama shouldn't be too tough to understand.
I love how the first episode started with rain and the last episode ended with rain. Full circle moment. This drama was truly beautiful, I feel so fortunate to be living during the times where I can just watch Fangs of Fortune instead of like... being a sick victorian child or something. You'll never catch me saying shit like 'I was born in the wrong era' because nah, I was born to watch Li Lun being a rattle-wielding menace and cry during all the angst scenes here.
The costumes in this drama are so pretty. I'm in love with everything Feiyu has worn here so far, especially all the dark blue robes, reminds me a bit of Moran's styling in hyx and as a 2ha clown, I appreciate it.
