She really is a good actress..no doubt. Especially very fitting to MQG/RR roles. Her determination to love her shifu is something we root for too. The progress is good she finally knew she is the one her shifu love.
Ep 23&24 are great...exceptionally beautiful. ..its such a beautiful scene when she kissed him to their consciousness and it actually heal him. And the fighting at palace is so awesome scene. But to be totally honest, I just do not like how Yishui still has to push Ranran away.for whatever reason though understandable because the number 1 goal in Yishui life is to protect Ranran. Its only 16 more eps...so Im looking forward to their union and overcome obstacles together....nevertheless the progress is quite good so far..❤️
I gave it 10/10! This will become iqiyi top 3 series ever released.
Hehe I read the novel many months ago. Love of divine tree novel is light, fun, romantic genre ..which actually is my fav (compare to LYF genre) back then I have love Shui Shui &Ranran equal to Yaojing though in different way. I hope drama maintain that till end. If so I think this will definetly be my fav romance fantasy cdrama (so far).

Got to say that I loved Jing and Xiayao since the moment they met. I feel like YZ and DW did an excellent job…
Yaojing is definetly one of my romantic cps. Even when some people seem to believe she love any other guys...honestly she only romantically love only one guy (the other is more of play romance frenemy bond actually)...if i find any logic of xy love another or love jing not enough, they wont be my fav for sure . And also for me , what jing did was least damaging for all while persuing what he wants . So i dont take him as coward in his not able outsmart his family.
Im done on ep18 My thoughts so far I like this type of forever romance that not changing with memory loss or reincarnation. (Xianxia is not my fav genre for various reasons...but none of them are in this show) To me Love Of the Divine tree is such a beautiful story..hopefully they keep it to the end. The reason I love Su Yishui is not only because of Deng Wei. Despite me not liking most red flags or bad boys type, I am very fond of Shifu. Yishui to me did not do anything that bad for me, although he may not be considerate things as green flags. Those are not that problematic here for me. I just felt he is just a normal person who can get into the wrong path. He was lucky he got seduced by Mu Qingge (sort of). And of course i have favor for devoted love interest ml. And Mu Qingge / Ranran is so adorable. I see them as mostly same. Mu Qingee was such a cool shifu. With the way her disciples respect her, I dont think she ever tease anyone the way she did to Yishui. I can see Ranran also has this sassy behavior similar to Mu Qingge but is more bubbly cute and lively. What Ran Ran won me over is how much shes straight forward to her feelings. Like she said she will still covet her shiful even if she get thuder & lightning. Of course Julia is such perfect MQG/RR. First time seeing her and shes now in my fav list. The whole cast is doing well and Im loving every moment. I love all the osts..my fav ones are opening song One Tree, Two People and Circle of Fate by Liu Yining. I like romantic and nice&easy song.

..I dearly love Jing lol...especially bcos i read novel too. DW was perfect. but yeo the drama was so disappointing for me with how they did jing character in S2. but right now i m so into Love of the Divine Tree its seem like Shui Shui taking all he should get. I am very fond of our Shifu .
