Tonghua having Sang Tian'er, Jing ye, Lirong Chang and Xiangliu all working hard to make sure yaojing is going…
Ch42 Zhuan Xu carefully wrapped Xiao Yao in a blanket and held her in his arms, staring carefully at her face. Her visage was pale and lips white, in two days it was like her entire body wasted away. Zhuan Xu felt his heart hurt and he looked up into the dawning light before taking a deep breath “Xiao Yao, this too will pass, and one day you will forget him!”
Xiao Yao slept for four days straight, and Yin said her body was healthy but it was like she was gravely ill and couldn’t wake up. Even in sleep she would shake in pain.
... It was mid-Summer so the bright sun filtered through the window and illuminated Xiao Yao, but didn’t shine any celebratory air and instead highlighted the sadness of a happiness torn asunder.
So alike! The Xiao Yao reading with her eyes lowered looked so much like her! The Yellow Emperor seemed to see the Xiao Yao before him rapidly aging away in a lonely room, her black locks turning white and her proud visage adding desolate wrinkles. Her old and lonely visage in Cao Yun Court overlayed on the Xiao Yao before him until the Yellow Emperor could no longer bear to look and shut his eyes.
.....
Xiao Yao looked down, she had been injured before and knew how long it took to stop hurting. To stop hurting she had to forget! But time was like sand, it would cover up everything in the heart.
But——
Jing, I don’t want to!
If the price to pay to not hurt is to forget you, then I would rather be in pain always so that you can live in my heart, until my life reaches its conclusion. ...... Chapter 43 Xiao Yao stared at the sky and didn’t feel any rage at being lied to, or fear at imminent death. Only the sadness of having her hopes dashed. Since childhood she had lived a hard life, her heart always drifting, feeling like she would be abandoned at any time. After her engagement to Jing did her heart settle down, thinking that things would finally change. Who knew Jing left her, even if it was just like her parents when a reason that couldn’t be helped. But she was still abandoned again, and she didn’t want to keep being strong anymore to face a long life ahead. If Jing slept in this ocean then she would rather be here with him. ......
The ship was sailing smoothly westward, a flock of white sea birds circled overhead and periodically dived down into the water. Xiang Liu stared at the birds and slowly said “The Wen Xiao Liu I knew a long time ago had many deficiencies, but the one deficiency not there was to roll over and accept a beating like an idiot. Has Tu Shan Jing taken such good care of you all these years that you’ve forgotten how to stay alive now that he’s dead?”
Xiao Yao couldn’t handle anyone talking about Jing being dead so she glared at Xiang Liu.
..... Xiao Yao burst out laughing while staring at the moon “Jing picked the full moon night to get married. I wanted to ask him why but was too embarrassed to, and figured I could ask him after the wedding since we had plenty of time. The last time I saw him was 32 days ago, he came to Xiao Yue Peak to see me and was supposed to leave before dinner but stayed until long after dinner, until the moon rose high over the mountain. We walked in the moonlight along the mountain paths, the moon was very beautiful that night. I pulled him to dance as I sang but he didn’t know how so I laughed at him for being so silly. Later he left on his winged ride and pointed to the moon and said “At the next full moon, no matter if the moon is bright or dark, if people gather or part, I will be with you forever, never apart.”
Xiao Yao suddenly started singing towards the ocean.
.. The silver moonlight lent an air of desolation around as the waves crested glittering in soft folds. Xiao Yao pointed at the moon with a smile “If I don’t see his body then in my memory he will always be on the back of his crane smiling at me while pointing to the moon to say “At the next full moon, no matter if the moon is bright or dark, if people gather or part, I will be with you forever, never apart.” I likely am very stupid and very weak, I can’t believe that he’s dead and feel that he may come back at the next full moon.” .... Zhuan Xu may have been played but all he felt was joy, placing a blanket around Xiao Yao before laying down to sleep.
"Xiao Yao, sing for me!"
Xiao Yao hummed the childhood song from their youth and Zhuan Xu fell asleep. Xiao Yao closedher eyes and continued humming, and gradually the song turned into the one she sang for Jing. Tears fell from Xiao Yao's eyes.
.... Chapter 44 Xiao Yao wrapped the reins tightly around her wrist and tossed a lantern into the sea of clouds. A gust of wind carried into the distance. She released three more in succession and the oil used for the light was from the magnolia tree so the air filled with that scent. Xiao Yao didn’t make a wish, since she was small every wish was dashed in the most cruel way possible so she no longer made wishes. Xiao Yao felt the heavens heard her wish and would purposely destroy that very wish. After some time watching the lanterns float away, Xiao Yao thought to herself “Jing, I’ve planted magnolia trees on Xiao Yue Peak, when the flowers bloom I will sing for you.” .....
Xiao Yao's eyes were unfocused and didn't seem to see Left Ear, instead smiling at the distance
"Magnolias."
Left Ear saw that Xiao Yao liked those pink flowers and quickly plucked an armful to bring back and place around her.
Left Ear placed on in Xiao Yao's hand and she said "When the weather is nice l'll wash your hair, and you can wash my hair, Jing. Don't forget to pluck the leaves in the morning dew."
Left Ear knew Xiao Yao was delirious and could no nothing other than repeating "Endure tonight and His Majesty will be here at sunrise, so you have to make it until then."
Xiao Yao smiled at the flower as the sun gradually set. Xiao Yao suddenly started crying "Jing, the flower is gone! I can't see you anymore!" Her eyes were about to close and Left Ear suddenly felt that he could not let Xiao Yao sleep no matter what, otherwise she would never wake up again.
Left Ear took some branches and shoved the godly wood inside, the entire thing lit up like a torch "Look! So many flowers, so many many flowers!" Xiao Yao tried hard and opened her eyes and took in the flowers.
Left Ear didn't care about exposing their location anymore, instead throwing more and more wood into the fire to burn brightly so Xiao Yao could see the flowers. He didn't even care if killers would be lured by the flames, or whether he could battle them, all he knew was that he had to let Xiao Yao see the flowers so she wouldn't close her eyes. ...... He rushed over to Xiao Yao and kneeled down "I'm so sorry, I came too late!"
Xiao Yao's eyes were staring into the distance and she said with a smile "Jing, you're finally back!"
Zhuan Xu paused for a split second, his smile frozen, but then he firmly picked Xiao Yao up into his arms "Let's go home."
Zhuan Xu carried Xiao Yao onto the cloud carriage. Her body couldn't move but her face was tightly pressed to his chest "Jing, I miss you so much, so much...... Don't leave....don't leave..."
Zhuan Xu placed his palm on Xiao Yao's back and felt her weak heartbeat.
His face showed no signs of his exhaustion from rushing back day and night, but his eyes reflected endless sorrow. His voice remained gentle and firm. "I won't leave, Xiao Yao, I won't leave! I will always be here!"
Xiao Yao listened to his firm beating heart and finally felt comforted. Jing was here! Jing was right beside her.
..... Chapter 46
The last time they saw each other was four years ago when Feng Long came with Xing Yue and Chang, and since then Xiao Yao hadn’t seen him or asked about what happened to Xing Yue. In Xiao Yao’s mind, these people appeared to have vanished for the last few years. .....
Xiao Yao saw the peaks of Zhi Jin Summit and the Palace ringed with clouds, which reminded her of standing at this spot with Xing Yue before she was marrying Jing. Xiao Yao’s eyes misted over thinking of Jing. ... Feng Long walked them inside, and while Zhuan Xu knew Jing used to live here back then he never visited so had no reaction. Xiao Yao walked into the courtyard that she was very familiar with, the one Jing lived in.
During the hottest days of summer an ice crystal wind chime would hang on the corridor, multicolored and in various floral shapes. As the wind passed it could carry the cold air and turn the courtyard as cool as spring.
Xiao Yao looked around and saw all the same blooming flowers just like it was before, bringing the sensation that a refined gentleman would walk through the door at any moment smiling at her.
But….that wasn’t to be!
The sunlight was the same, the view was the same, but the person looking at her with affection was no longer there. Xiao Yao’s heart hurt and her eyes saw black, she was about to collapse when Zhuan Xu grabbed her “Xiao Yao!”
“No worries, I almost tripped is all.” Xiao Yao tried to control herself but her breathing was ragged and both Zhuan Xu and Feng Long heard it clearly.
Zhuan Xu quietly asked “Did Jing use to live here?”
Feng Long remembered now that Jing said he knew Xiao Yao from before. Clearly Xiao Yao also lived in Qing Shui Town so Feng Long quickly said “I’ll have another place prepared.”
Zhuan Xu was about to say yes when Xiao Yao forced a smile “Here is fine.” At least there was the memory of him here. ... Chapter 49
Xiao Yao stared at the peach blossom forest and remembered when Jing proposed to her. It was on Cao Ao Peak on Sheng Nong Mountain, which didn’t have any peach blossom trees, but Jing knew her parents pledged their love under peach blossom trees so he used his power to conjure up thousands of miles of peach blossoms and as the petals rained down he nervously asked “Tu Shan Jing wishes for Xi Ling Jiu Yao’s hand in marriage.”
Xiao Yao reached out her hand and caught a few peach blossoms and smiled.
...... Xiao Yao walked directly to the altar without looking anywhere else and the Royal Mother asked “As custom, I shall ask one final time – once you are Royal Mother you cannot get married or ever leave Jade Mountain. Do you still agree?”
Zhuan Xu yelled “Xiao Yao———-“ with tears in his eyes, pleading with every fiber of his being.
Under the peace blossoms falling around her Xiao Yao seemed to spot Jing and she tightly clenched her hands around the petals in her palm as she smiled at him and said “I agree.” ....
Tonghua having Sang Tian'er, Jing ye, Lirong Chang and Xiangliu all working hard to make sure yaojing is going…
I dont think she lived quite okie during Jing missing....u skip too much I guess..so i may copy paste some of them here in the reply...which u probably read..but also completely deny..she never lovesick for XL that way..all her longing address to Jing..the last person she thought before becoming Royal Mother was Jing.
Tonghua having Sang Tian'er, Jing ye, Lirong Chang and Xiangliu all working hard to make sure yaojing is going…
I think u are skipping some part... her reaction to Jing plight is....she did not believe he died....despite he had too little chance to win over Hou..she was ready to search the river for him. And she felt into deep sleep with pain..four days. Chapter 42 Xiao Yao knew that Jing was not a fighter, and compared to Hou it was like a forest fox versus a mountainb tiger. The tiger might not be able to catch the fox in the woods, but in a direct battle the fox was doomed. Hou claimed he wanted a fair fight but he chose the method that gave him the advantage. So Jing was going to die either he agreed to the fight or not.
But Xiao Yao didn’t believe it. She kept telling herself that Jing was alive! He must be alive! In twenty four days he was going to marry her, so how could he not be alive? Xiao Yao followed the river calling out “Jing ——– Jing——–“ But no one answered her. ...... Zhuan Xu carefully wrapped Xiao Yao in a blanket and held her in his arms, staring carefully at her face. Her visage was pale and lips white, in two days it was like her entire body wasted away. Just done with Ep11...Im very pissed at CX for making XY believe that her marriage with Jing will bring conflicts between Jing and the elders. OmO Of course Yaojing scenes are still fluttering. ❤️🦊

I found that in 2017 interview...she talked of it that shes not sure it will satisfied everyone..to her it is temporal end...because lives will be going on..she just stop writing..... but i guess we are satisfied. .....

Writers Network reporter : "Longing 3: Thinking without Boundaries" has been published, and the Longing series has also ushered in the final ending. After several months of anticipation, readers can't wait to see this "perfect ending". Do you think readers will be satisfied with the current ending? Is this ending considered perfect in your mind? Tong Hua: I don't know! According to past experience, it is always difficult to satisfy everyone. Some people are satisfied, and some are not. I don't know how to evaluate this ending. To me, the story always seems to be "temporarily over", because the story can only end at a certain point, and in my heart, they are all alive, and their lives are still going on in that world, but I won't write it down anymore. http://m.zuojiawang.com/xinwenkuaibao/4695.html ............
I have a soft spot for this kind of man. But a bit decisive and not too soft hearted would be 😍 To me he is…
Umm I am not sure by "Bit decisive", actually I am surprised when people said he's indecisive. Are they taking XY's word? Or I am not sure what they are meaning. Maybe because I have read novel so I am quite sure. I need to go back and check if its mentioned in drama too😅. He already telling himself he could no longer be Ye Shiqi because she's no longer WXL, so in order to ask her hand he needed Tushan title. He's trying slowly to persuade his grandma. But then we can also see him trying to bring CX and XY to Central Plain, and other things although we did not get into how he planned it. Are they meaning this time taking as "indecisive."? For me he's already decided what he wanted and trying his best to get it. But you like said he'd could be quite soft hearted to people he care or those around him. Like he's slowing trying to persuade grandma. He did not really punish Hou(love for brother) but rather tried avoid from Hou attack. He had no idea about how much Ffyy could be deadly. (He did not see as we does). So he tried avoid doing anything that would actually hurt her or her family because he thought Tushan owe to her. She's been helping Tushan for some years. But he did make sure he acted directly as never have any feelings for her. I thought people were just annoyed by his calmness and taking things a slow and his innocent face. But to me lol saying as he's saint would be incorrect. Hes only a decent man who soft spot for people who he care.
Why I love Tushan Jing, and would make a perfect husband, to ladies who want warm family life...In short, family oriented, respect to elders, and respect women. He also loves himself and the world and giving chances. In love, he is a very passionate man.
Why I love Tushan Jing, and would make a perfect husband, to ladies who want warm family life...In short, family…
He is not a train soldier or general. He does not need to be that kind of strong. Unfortunate events occured to him but unfortunate events can occur to others differently too no matter how deadly they deal with enemies or haters.
Personally, I dont find passive from XL...its his style (but,I did not expect him play zither&wear red and not…
I can say XL is popular character before the drama..ever since the book came out. His fans promote well. After reading the novel though i can say hes leasting appearing least among four main. Im not sure if this added more to his charm. As for the drama.. i think they promote more on XL and Yaoliu more than the book. In the book, XL is more rough, and we get less into whats deep inside him, not as much as we get from other 3 main. (But enough so we can see hes lonely and care about XY. ..while loyal to gong gong). Drama ver S1 added a lot of his emotional scenes. I also agree with those who said the production spend most on XL scenes. I mean they even made YZ and TJC sang the "Prefer Mortal Firework" when its mostly addressing to yaojing..So Im not surprise if more viewers dotes on yaoliu.. And about XL crashing the wedding, one of his fan from other page said..it could be because of despite hurting her image or anything XL might want to know if XY still keep her oath to him before. .they shared the bug. I think that reason is valid too.
