I can say XL is popular character before the drama..ever since the book came out. His fans promote well. After reading the novel though i can say hes leasting appearing least among four main. Im not sure if this added more to his charm. As for the drama.. i think they promote more on XL and Yaoliu more than the book. In the book, XL is more rough, and we get less into whats deep inside him, not as much as we get from other 3 main. (But enough so we can see hes lonely and care about XY. ..while loyal to gong gong). Drama ver S1 added a lot of his emotional scenes. I also agree with those who said the production spend most on XL scenes. I mean they even made YZ and TJC sang the "Prefer Mortal Firework" when its mostly addressing to yaojing..So Im not surprise if more viewers dotes on yaoliu.. And about XL crashing the wedding, one of his fan from other page said..it could be because of despite hurting her image or anything XL might want to know if XY still keep her oath to him before. .they shared the bug. I think that reason is valid too.

I still take it as he let go XY with someone she loves and could be with her. Well why not take Jing's offer when his soldiers starving too. But ruining her wedding can get him to elimenate FFB, maybe also creates conflicts between Xiyan, Chenrong and Haoling. I still see XL freeing XY from her marriage, he made her pay the price with her reputation..But he did it because he care for her too. in 1st season he asked for earth in Chenrong to pay for him curing XY from CX when he became King. About Jing family, I do actually like how they showed him working towards it to find the truth. But the way XY able to get that red core to me is not feeling natural.(It did not make sense as in novel). So far im still enjoying the drama. I still enjoy all yaojing scenes from it. Maybe because its my fav thing from this drama as awhole. But I can also feel something is off with it as well.
so YaoJing fans should not be here as well? why? Are we not allowed to comment on mdl?
Because they are closed off to Jing character as that already..... they are too blind to what Jing did because they are fantasizing to see something else...

As of a whole plot, its fine but she cut out some lines(sometimes many) and words..or even change words according to what she thought i guess.. theres nomentioning of ritual
