Cang Xuan had already conquered Xiyan at the end of S1. I would like to see how will he conquered Da Huang in S2. Will it be the same as in novel... or will there be surprises? Its something Im looking forward to see..whatever..hope he will accomplish the best..

S1 ended quite sad for our YaoJing couple. Looking forward to a sweet union in S2. 😍 Its interesting how Jing will go meet this Donkey seller (is he wizard king for drama ver).. and tried to see the illusion what happened to him with ffyy.. I dont like how he had to be in pain for it though.. but there should be more kisses and embrace after those hurting misunderstanding..

Wow I really like how you take this theme of "cage" ..I would like to add my own ver...I also think that main characters of LYF had somehow caged or tied to their past for somehow. The way how I take it is..if Jing had chosen to revenge on Hou..he will never escaped from this cage ever again. Yes Jing character has a strong sense of this mental matters..also because Hou was his brother. So he would rather embrace his new found love.
As for Cang Xuan..loneliness is something. But i rather think that the real cage for Cang Xuan is the responsibility?? Or is it rather his guilt or trauma in seeing he lost those whom he loved since he was young, his parents, Xiao Yao, etc. I think that is the main thing why he craved for power ? However I think as the story progress I think he found his real goal and strength within this cage? (Because he seems to have this goals and fairness to rule the world!!)
As for Xy and XL..
They had some similarities according to the drama about how they used to grew up on their own. (XY was grew up warmly with those who love her though) and both were abused in childhood. They had the person they were loyal to. Xy towards her cousin, CX and XL towards Hong Jiang, his savior. Nevertheless Xy has hopes and finally get free together with Jing. But XL was loyal to Hong Jiang and Chenrong army to
death.
Yes I hope S2 will wrap up well for all the characters.

I don't how you are saying it's misinformed?? It's obvious in the drama in ep12 when XL offered to take that bug, he knew WXL did not really know full information on the bug which he knew from the donkey seller, she's just too eagered to remove the bug from Xuan. I don't find any misinformation about XL cheating to get that bug connection. And Yes XY was not aware much of this of her emotion making known until XL interrupt her heartbreak... and yep according to the novel, XL used this connection with XY to kill CX twice. Better go check on ep 11 how he did it first time.. there will be more time. So I dont know whom is biased and misformed??

Tushan Jing is the best if we think of family life partner. I am happy Xiao Yao falls in love with him.
