I totally agree that Crystal's own voice would have worked very well! But, I also didn't mind the dubbed voice so much, since I am kind of used to these type of voices by now after watching a few cdramas. I think I can understand that it might be quite awful for others. Hope that it won't affect their rating of the drama though T.T >.<

Next 10 episodes are out on Viki! FYI, Xuan Ji will regain her senses somewhere in between ep 20-30. Her character is written as a carefree and pure girl, but you will see her emotions come alive and she will realize her love for Si Feng deeply. A drama is not a drama without angst and misunderstanding, so be prepared for the angst and suffering coming up, but also know that the writer inputs sweetness here and there to satisfy our hearts. If you can handle Goodbye My Princess angst, then I think you can also handle this one. GMP was just too sorrowful for me, my heart couldn't take it. But the costumes, production sets, landscapes were sooo beautiful. I can't give it a bad rating considering all the work and effort put into it. Anyways, hope the FL will grow on you. ML is really the shining star for me. :)

Not every drama is everyone's cup of tea and no matter how good a drama is to one person, there is always someone else who will not like it. >.< And that's really ok. But I think an overall 1 ranking is a bit too low. There was so much effort into the costumes, production sets, writing, acting, etc. >.< Also, throughout the drama, Xuan Ji doesn't only take, take, take - she actually gives a lot and defends Si Feng, even with her life. They both give and take. Also the ML's devotion is not only to a girl. He made clear decisions to protect his father, and his people and his friends. Anyways, just wanted to release that from my heart. ^^;; Thanks for giving this a try though! Take care!

hehe, tried, but just not my cup of tea. T.T And don't worry, I won't rate it with a bad rating. I get very sad when people rate my beloved dramas like Love and Redemption low just because it's not their cup of tea. For many dramas, so much effort went to the production, set, designs, costumes, acting, writing, that it's hard to give a drama low stars even if it's not my type of drama. :) Take care!

I read online from some comments that they had to cut part of the kiss in ep 52 so that it can fit/be appropriate for all ages. >.< I guess it was too hot!

Oh Zhao Lusi sounds interesting. Her character in The Romance of Tiger and Rose was a little mischievous, cheerful, and carefree. Haven't seen her other dramas though. I do want to see Cheng Yi in a more light hearted sweet romance, with less suffering. hehe
