He was awkward, but it was more than his acting. Tge way he was placed in scenes, actions were jumpy. It looked like a manbequin was used to film some areas as if it were a body double, and it seemed spliced in in other sections too.

Yes! Like everyone is so insecure and greedy that they have to backstab and humiliate anyone they find threatening to tgeir plans.

Thats tge only example I can think of where there werent plots and strategies against each other.

She was that type of person I think, because of the forced marriage. Not justifying her terrible behavior toward innocent servants, but her overall attitude was because she loved someobe else. 😕

The battles in the inner courtyards are filled with plotting, physical harm and sometimes death. Even palace dramas have this dynamic. I recently watched New Life Begins, and is the only drama that I have seen where there is very little drama in between the wives and concubines.

Does anyone know if there is a reason the legitimate prince usnt listed in the cast? Or maybe I missed his nand twice?

There were 8 episodes that were cut, so a lot of transitional info was lost by censorship.

In ep 1 she was talking to someone on the phone after she failed her interview and was going to her shared rental. Not sure if shes a sister/relative or a former classmate. leaning more toward sister.

It was the person she was talking to after her interview in episode 1. Not sure if she is her sister or a friend though.

I thought I was seeing things! Theres even one scene where it looks like a mannequin in costume was used.

Is it just me, or does every scene with the 7th prince look like it was added after the scenes were completed by the other actors? His movements are awkward and his image often shifts like an old stop motion film.

Bing Bing is quite the hotty in this role. I like their chemistry so far (thru ep 4), and have a feeling that the FL is going to have a surprising and dramatic character growth in this drama. They will be a force to deal with.

The actor who portrayed Yin Qing is worrh keeping an eye on. He nearly stole the spotlight. Many of the supporting cast we very good actors.

I found that out yesterday afternoon and screen mirrored my ios version to my Roku. 🙃
