yeah sadly being a historical drama you can't really not have it that way since it was a mandated hairstyle of…
Same here with the Kung Fu movies and tv series. And then there was The King and I with Yil Bruner. As a result, I find some men loook very handsome with shaved heads.

Yes, plots need time to develop and characters too. It’s the same in real life - no one is born the way they are when life ends. Everyone goes through ups and diwbs, joys and sorrows, but their attitude, choices abd reactions are what shapes them. It’s the same way for a drama and its characters. No one goes through life making perfect decisions, we all stumble and fall.

Thank you for your kind words also! It’s easy to be kind, isn’t it? Too much time is spent on being mean and resentful. I would rather be known for kindness than being mean and hurting someone.

I had never seen him in drama until Love’s Ambition, and before I knew who he was. I took one look at his eyes and immediately thought he was evil, demonic even. I fast forwarded through his dialog.

Exactly. He’s nearly 30, never been in a relationship and has focused on nothing but schooling, his careers and recovery from his accident. She’s younger, just graduated from college, had a crush on someone for 2 years and has been protected and pampered her whole life. They’re innocents in a relationship. And their first kiss is nowhere near as awkward as the first kiss in Hidden Love. THAT was the most awkward but sweetest kiss ever.

This truly is sickening.
Yes it is sickening. I waiver between praying these predators pay horribly for their vile behavior and wishing these talented and beautiful young people are able to break free from the agencies that peddle them off to the highest most disgusting buyers.

When I look at older actors so wonder if they had to endure this also. 😢

Thank you for the correction. Post removed as I do not want to deliberately leave false information up.

Actually it doesn't look too bad. I thought he was gonna get a bowel cut as in the 2016 kpop type or will byers…
I was very happy that they didn’t do that to his hair also. Although I think he would still be handsome if he dressed in a paper bag, a true bowl cut would have been a bitter pill to swallow and a terrible injustice to one so handsome 😉

While thuds kind young man’s death is a horrible tragedy, his demise by corrupt, greedy and perverted individuals has brought to light the horrendous treatment and abuse by those in the government and entertainment industries. My heart aches for the awful treatment, assault, victimizing and abuse actors endure in China. Forcing people into prostituting themselves and SA to protect their families and their lives is reprehensible.

Exactly. She didn’t break into his house to steal things, she didn’t plot out ways to avoid security cameras so she could hide in a stairwell and use binoculars to steal his apartments passcode, or go to a fanmeeting and demand his phone number and cause security to drag her away. She sat in her own him, watched him perform and crushed on him from a distance.

Really enjoying this so far! Confused about the comedy tag, though? Sure there are some light comedic elements…
It’s mislabeled I think. Rom-com might be better. Comedy is not always about being funny all the way through. There’s a sub-genre of comedy called tragic comedy, where comedy and tragic elements tie together to create tension and lay the groundwork for the ‘happy’ resolution. Still, comedy is definitely misapplied.

I just don’t understand why people do this. Maybe it’s my age, or a cultural difference, but the mentality behind this behavior makes no sense to me. Yoy can’t write an objective review when you’ve only watched the groundwork of the story. Nothing makes sense in the beginning, and any drama from any culture has their own way of portraying things. Abd, just because your preconceived expectations don’t get fulfilled doesn’t mean it’s a bad drama - it’s your disappointments that your voicing. It’s like a toddler that doesn’t get the toy or cookie they wanted and then throws themselves on the ground kicking and screaming. Silliness.

I also cried with his acting because I saw myself in him as well, and I am sorry you’ve had to deal with panic attacks too. They are terrible things to go through. ❤️

I don’t think it’s the manager, I think it might be the band member who is always cranky and trying to push…
that’s another possibility as well!

So there’s a lot of bashing on the ML, and yes there are multiple tropes used in his past, but his acting is spot on for a sufferer of anxiety. And until one of you faces a panic attack that severe, you’ll never understand how out of control you can feel. The shaking from adrenaline pumping tgrough your system can cause rage, unstoppable tears, hyperventilation, vo*itting, temporary paralysis, and even fainting. Suppressed emotions that have been hidden for years can come spewing out and can’t be controlled.

I think KJY is doing an amazing job playing this roll, especially after being attacked and beaten for his shoes.

And all the complaining about his backstory? Seriously?? It’s a DRAMA, are you surprised by this?

Rating a drama you haven’t finished watching with only 4 episodes released? Just drop it and move on. why trash talk actors who are doing their jobs while you sit at home twiddling with the remote?

Serious script flaws in your “reasoning”.

Who thinks the manager is the killer??? I have a feeling it might be him.
I don’t think it’s the manager, I think it might be the band member who is always cranky and trying to push the ML to lose his temper and the agency owner.
