I had issues watching this drama, and not due to the drama. I'm going through something in real life and the fact…
I completely understand what you wrote. While I did not suffer from amnesia, I did force emotions down due to the trauma of losing my husband while we both slept. Not giving yourself time to love, be happy, grieve or just sit in the presence of the people you love can cause you more pain than enduring with and dealing with the emotions while it is taking place is better than suppressing it for decades.I don’t know your struggles, but please give yourself time and space to process, remember, and decide what comes next.I pray you find peace and solace 🙏🏻❤️
I'm increasingly wondering if some people even watched the drama properly up to this episode. ML is literally…
Exactly. People come in with preconceived ideas and desires and have no idea how to wait to the end to form an opinion.
His acting is spot on for this role and well within the parameters of a sensitive person being stalked, harassed, abused, used, betrayed and watching his dream turn into something he starts to hate because of his agency. He has some mental health issues, and it’s completely understandable why.
yeah sadly being a historical drama you can't really not have it that way since it was a mandated hairstyle of…
Same here with the Kung Fu movies and tv series. And then there was The King and I with Yil Bruner. As a result, I find some men loook very handsome with shaved heads.
I am hoping Shine On Me will be the catalyst to bringing him more diverse and better script opportunities. Not sure if he’s been able to sign with another agency, and the producer who had such horrible intentions when his contract was signed.
It’s a new year on the calendar, but let’s not leave his name in 2025. Let all of us join hands in remembrance of Yu Menglong and others who have had their lives ruined by a system that is corrupt, polluted and evil.
Thank you for saying this. People need to stop bashing them when there are 8 more eps left and we dont know the…
Yes, plots need time to develop and characters too. It’s the same in real life - no one is born the way they are when life ends. Everyone goes through ups and diwbs, joys and sorrows, but their attitude, choices abd reactions are what shapes them. It’s the same way for a drama and its characters. No one goes through life making perfect decisions, we all stumble and fall.
Thank you for your kind words also! It’s easy to be kind, isn’t it? Too much time is spent on being mean and resentful. I would rather be known for kindness than being mean and hurting someone.
I had never seen him in drama until Love’s Ambition, and before I knew who he was. I took one look at his eyes and immediately thought he was evil, demonic even. I fast forwarded through his dialog.
I noticed so many people talking bad about their kiss scene and how they are awkward. Do you all not see their…
Exactly. He’s nearly 30, never been in a relationship and has focused on nothing but schooling, his careers and recovery from his accident. She’s younger, just graduated from college, had a crush on someone for 2 years and has been protected and pampered her whole life. They’re innocents in a relationship. And their first kiss is nowhere near as awkward as the first kiss in Hidden Love. THAT was the most awkward but sweetest kiss ever.
Yes it is sickening. I waiver between praying these predators pay horribly for their vile behavior and wishing these talented and beautiful young people are able to break free from the agencies that peddle them off to the highest most disgusting buyers.
When I look at older actors so wonder if they had to endure this also. 😢
Actually it doesn't look too bad. I thought he was gonna get a bowel cut as in the 2016 kpop type or will byers…
I was very happy that they didn’t do that to his hair also. Although I think he would still be handsome if he dressed in a paper bag, a true bowl cut would have been a bitter pill to swallow and a terrible injustice to one so handsome 😉
While thuds kind young man’s death is a horrible tragedy, his demise by corrupt, greedy and perverted individuals has brought to light the horrendous treatment and abuse by those in the government and entertainment industries. My heart aches for the awful treatment, assault, victimizing and abuse actors endure in China. Forcing people into prostituting themselves and SA to protect their families and their lives is reprehensible.
1. she fell in love with him far before he became an idol. 2. how is it toxic? toxic fan culture would be her…
Exactly. She didn’t break into his house to steal things, she didn’t plot out ways to avoid security cameras so she could hide in a stairwell and use binoculars to steal his apartments passcode, or go to a fanmeeting and demand his phone number and cause security to drag her away. She sat in her own him, watched him perform and crushed on him from a distance.
