Tgere are not many honorable governments or nations. Everyone had their own agenda when they sit in a seat of power. It’s always the little people who have to do what the governments should but won’t. And being from the US, I can say this with certainty. There are still people who care about injustices and do what they can to bring it to light without the need for attention or personal gain.

I would hope it would be in favor of justice for YML and the others who have and are suffering from this regime, and the Chinese people as a nation.

I agree. I know in the Hollywood area Chinese people lined the streets handing out flyers to people recently. That will get some attention - I just hope someone who can investigate freely will be able to see it and take the initiative.

Being from the US I might agree on some part of that being true. But, if it would benefit the government in any way, they might do something. Most people here have been propagandized into believing the governments around the world are “okay” when in reality they are all out for benefitting those in charge. You may be correct, but we can still hope that the more people who know about the travesties that are happening to actors like LMY someone of influence and a mind for justice for innocent people will come along and do something to find answers and hold the monsters responsible.

just came across this video by China Insider that claims someone bought the torture video of YML off the dark web (for $100,000 usd) and turned it over to the FBI. Accirding to this channel, the FBI is looking into things now. Let us hope this is true and the truth will be revealed to the world soon.

That was pretty intense. And rather telling that their romance was going to be a slow burn and that he was going to have to take a lot of misunderstandings initially. She was so young at that time and had no clue that a man 6 years older than her had falling in love with her. His eyes were glued on her, and his emotions were written all over his face. Yes, that scene felt off for me also. I think that it speaks to the fact that nearly everyone forms their own opinion about people without trying to get to know them, and those assumed thoughts can be so very wrong. I very much wanted to walk around that table and smack them all on the head.

Isn’t it though? There are so many little subtleties in c-dramas! This is my 4th rewatch and I always find the scene so beautiful but also heartbreaking for Ling Buyi, but it changed the atmosphere with that knowledge and it became “hope” instead.

Do you think this also ties in with the alleged stroke that took place a few days ago? Perhaps this individual is in hiding in order to ready himself for this transfer.
