oh my gosh yes! the instruments ❤️ I love how some shows bring the traditional music and instruments into the production. But I do cringe when the music is complex - like on the pipa, but their fingers on the fretboard never move 😑I grew up playing strings and woodwinds, so I have to look away. Pardon me, I am now going to go look up the er hu…😂

I can’t tell you how many things I have looked up in the last 6 years! My first curiosity was Shu Embroidery. It’s so beautiful. I am an artist and love learning new arts…So I bought the silk thread, a book and some silk fabric. It’s still waiting for me to learn 😂

This is one thing I like about c-dramas. I have learned so much about the places, artisan crafts, food and culture…even to the point if they mention something like coconut chicken soup, I pause and look it up (recipe link below in case anyone is curious like I was!), I look up the recipe, or locations and sites around cities.
