I just finished 19 and am trying hard not to cry.

I don’t see it that way. it is not the writing, it’s film editing crew that should be catching that - and it should either be cut ir reshot. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this drama quite a bit, it’s just those little things that I see that make me roll my eyes 😂

I dare not elaborate…cuz it would involve razor blades and pickle brine then a nice sit down on a wool blanket in front of a blazing campfire… 😂

He hasn’t explained anything at all other than being upset about the changes, and telling the 2ML that they will return to their formal glory (he told him that he was a prophet)

He’s upset because the ML and FL keep changing his script. He wants to return it to how it was originally written.

Now…I kinda want to do physical harm to the screenwriter! 😂

I love how bits of history are thrown in dramas like that. I have altered a couple of books, have yet to bind my own signatures and add a cover - found a tutorial on the Chinese stitch for binding to use on my first ❤️

And maybe why his agent was so insistent that he be given more screen time than anyone else.

And maybe, just maybe, the original scenes of them meeting as strangers in acting roles is the real dream?

So…someone has probably already mentioned this, but I thought I’d share a thought…

The FL has trying to circumvent all of the major scenes, but she has only read the parts of the script she is involved with. She doesn’t know about the way the other characters are developing and planning. So her theory of trying to avoid the disasters is flawed by the scenes she skipped over.

She’s unaware of how her lunatic ex-fiancé is on the verge of being committed to the psych ward, but knows he’s one of the people involved with the wedding disaster, but also most likely the one who orders the execution of her family.

Oh this little brother needs a good old fashioned butt kicking! Interfering, lying, manipulating…scheming. He makes me angry. Now he’s hitting the ML because someone else hurt her??? 😡

I notice stuff like that. Wobbling swords, people being stuck by swords and spitting blood before the sword reaches them, people fighting with no one. It makes me laugh😂

I am quite amused at the jabs and satire of the typical drama tropes being pointed out as humorous. The first episode of the FL trying to escape her pending doom during her wedding walk are so rediculous.

I am on ep 5 right now and this is what I think I see happening in the background:

ML was set up by his uncle (2nd ML father to take the blame for the Empresses death while his som was exonerated. ML sent to guard the border while Uncle and FL’s father (possibly unknowingly) twisted events to make it look like ML is trying to usurp power.

Uncle is using the 18th Prince as a pawn to incite tensions with his father and ML, but doesn’t realize what’s happening because he’s just plain clueless (or is he stirring the pot in the background?). Uncle and 2nd ML are actually plotting to have all of Emporers family terminated so that they can take the throne, and FL as empress is the prize offered by the uncle to her father for helping him frame the ML
This could be very interesting once all of the satire settles down and the actual plot shows up.

I noticed that look also. He almost paused to look at her but it was barely noticeable.
