First I didn't get what was going on when she woke up, I thought "oh is she sick and going to become his patient and he will struggle having to cure her or sth" only for that to go out of the window. If you know the ending of the original story it's based on, knowing that the guy is a rapist, makes the fact he send her some porridge afterwards pretending to care about her so much more vile.

yes I like to be suprised and go in with little information and I sure got suprised

there is no ridiculous overreaction, people are rightfully disgusted at the cheating (not "cheating") and the fact you guys have to do mental gymnastics to undermine it says a lot. the gf is not a psycho to him, she wants to talk to him and he cant be bothered to be with her unless she lets him hit it, he's disgusting and the relationship of the leads is based on shallow lust and her being cheap and easy and having no spine and low self-worth

I don't think so, I thought this was going to be a serious romantic drama (these actors usually have serious roles) and I don't really watch anything these days except skimming through some first episodes.

not to mention, when he said "who reported me?" I thought that was so weird because you could have said "who claimed it? who said it? who did I apparently rape?" but he says "who reported me" bruhhhhh he must have thought "which one reported me". good acting on both sides for sure!

The GF isn't a bitch at all (except the adding of the bullying scene). Anything else is completely reasonable and normal behaviour on her part. The fact people seem to have a problem with a character with motives but not with spineless, cowardice, treacherous characters who only care about their gratification is ridiculous.

You guys are coping so bad LOL, her having ulterior motives dating him is nothing comparable (or even a bad thing!)to him being a cheater and coward and the FL being stupid and having no spine.

So I just came here to say I could not stand the ML & FL but I LOVED the GF I was like "gimme an entire show with her as a lead" lol (except the bullying aspect obv but they did that deliberately to try to make me hate her but she was an interesting character). Like why would I root for the guy cheating on his GF cause she doesn't let him hit it, or the girl with no backbone that continues to make out with a cheater after pretending she wouldn't see him again LOL you suck.

I always scroll through these sections looking for some original thoughts and lol Idk why this made me laugh but I guess you have a point, there is certainly a science to anything and the producers room must have shared similar thoughts

1. I skipped last episodes so I didn’t pay attention, hope he found his kid?
2. definitely wasn’t sold on their romance

I get you, I felt there was a certain level of vulnerability/intensity/depth of human fragility missing, if that makes sense? The characters don’t feel as bare to me depsite the constant emphasis on their emotions.
I personally also didn‘t click with the sudden romance between the leads, I didn’t feel it at all.
I did like it, one of the few kdramas I liked and completed the last years but I did expect a lot more.

Anyone else disappointed with the resolution of the FL‘s story? All that buildup with her background story and mother and it gets resolved with a therapy talk in the background…
I wanted to see her do more/sth bold and suprising as she did throughout the show whenever she opened her mouth.
I found the ML‘s lead success arc in the latet episodes too fairytale-sque and lost interest
I feel the FL became a fuel to his story and turned into a side character
