If you claim to be a Muslim and deny this, you should retake your Shahada and learn what it means. Religion is the only thing that matters, and while there are many sins (minor and major), Shirk is the one Allah does not forgive if anyone dies on it. Shirk is also the worst of all sins, the one that makes you end up in Hellfire forever.

Quran 4:48:
